Huge one for french people, I don’t know if he was widely known but working in fashion myself, he was a huge name

I've now added every new players' team to the summary post. it's the last 3 days to enter, the closing is on the 30th of November at midnight (English hour) I've also added new malus and bonus rules concerning your n°1 spot on your team so you may want to make some changes about your team position : just let me know and I'll reorganize that. If you had chosen Frank Williams, Clarissa Eden, De Klerk, Sondheim or others that already died, please let me know who you want to replace them with. When I like your updates on the thread or your list, it means I noticed it and added it to the main first post. Good Luck to everyone !

maybe dick Cheney from a sudden heart attack, Dole has outlived at least 6 people since I first chose him so I'm changing
-
Maybe the wheelchair is part of the plan and he will get ride of them both to play his best role : the dying Czech President

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist
Lafaucheuse replied to Charles De Gaulle's topic in DeathList Forum
I feel like there will be a time in the coming months with very expected and numerous deaths just like in January 2016 for example. I already said that in the beginning of 2021 and have been proved wrong by the lack of interesting and obvious deaths (which is a miracle considering some of the picks’ health) but as much as I think they will see 2022, I’m really confident that Dole, Carter, Phillips, Benedict XVI or even Betty White will pass on in 2022. Of course they can let me down and fight to see 2023 but I don’t think it will happen since there’s a lot of picks who are on their last leg. Since the purge of 2020, I feel like we’ll be facing the end of an era in 2022 if people like Tutu, Jerry Lee Lewis and locks like Dole etc pass away, and I’m pretty convinced it will happen sooner than later. -

And now prepare for 3 hits in the coming hours ! Thanks Ullitzer -
while I don’t think she was really 124 (apparently gerontology sites and searchers are waiting for a proof for more than 6 years now), I must say I’m a bit annoyed by the constant scepticism of Dr. Robert Young. I know that working on supercentenarians is a tricky task because you have to get clear and undoubted proofs but to me it feels like Dr. young is just constantly dismissing the case which he hasn’t heard of saying « it’s too rare to reach that age without being known publicly ». It feels like he doesn’t even try to find proofs or interest in some case with that a priori scepticism. With a more neutral behaviour, maybe he could have validated some of the claimant or try to understand their real age (in susano’s case for example, maybe she was not 124 but 6 or 7 years younger are sufficient to make her one of the oldest person ever) without saying they’re all lying every time. I feel like we’re missing something with that attitude

Yayoi Kusama will turn 93 in 2022. A huge name who is widely recognised in today contemporary art. Don’t think she’s DL worthy but maybe for a pool…
-
Many articles and even herself cited 1934 as her year of birth. Don’t know what to think about her but if she’s really 91, she deserves (I think) a spot on the list
-
Always fascinated about claims and frauds in the supercentenarian field ! Why in this case isn’t she validated ? a simple question as I doesn’t have time to make further research about here rn
-
Made history by being the oldest artist ever nominated in a general field at the Grammys. Probably his last nomination but congrats !

Nino Cerruti turns 92 next year, as well as Mary Quant (who could be born in 1934, there’s doubt about her born) + German princess Marianne of Wittgenstein will be 103 as will be George Boscawen, British aristocrat + British Duchess Fortune FitzRoy and British army officer Nathaniel Fiennes will both turn 102

French Prime Minister Jean Castex tested positive to Covid. Will be just fine I think, he was vaccinated (live on TV to convince anti-vax cunts).

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist

Nelson is the only one out of them that I can see dying in 2022. Both Crosby and McGowan are younger. I think Crosby has exagerated his health issu back in 2019 : probably wanted to be in the spotlight but despite all his health issues if he has planed a show in 2022, I would say he’s not that bad. As to McGowan, he’s frail, in wheelchair and everything but at 63 he has much more energy and strength than he would have if he was in the same condition at 80 or 85 for example. I would say he’s safe for the next 10 or 12 months, maybe even to his 65. Nelson is frail, was said to have health issue last year (cancer ?) but is still touring so maybe he’ll see his 90 yo but I wouldn’t bet on it ! -

64 days without a hit. November has been disappointing in terms of celeb deaths so far. Last time we didn’t have a hit on November was in 2017, and last time we didn’t have a hit in December was in 2013. Hope we won’t renew that. -
Looks old but ok. However I’d be surprised if he makes it to 100, 1 year and 7 months is a lot at this age and he isn’t exactly the best-looking-98-old-man out there. Will see 2022 I guess but 2023 is a bit too far imo

I added the newcomers' list and replaced the dead ones as asked ! tell me if there's a problem
-
If you keep on refreshing the page every ten seconds till she dies, I think there’s a great chance what will happen is you’ll just turn crazy and she’ll always be alive…
-
I’m post-twunt but I’m not at 1000 yet. Also, what does post twunt means exactly ? There’s no translation in France…
-
I've been keeping an eye on him. Wouldn't be mad about his inclusion on the list but I doubt he would even match the DL standards and criterias…
-
Couldn’t sleep last night thinking I missed a wonderful opportunity to pu « Clarissa Deaden » instead of this awful one

Clarissa Edead

Also, the 14th Daila Lama Tenzin Gyatso turns 87 next year. Not in an immediate danger but one to keep an eye on for next years.
