    Queen Elizabeth II

This article (in french) claims that the queen is now « too tired » to take her dog out for a walk. Also, not only has she lost weight, she has melted on this picture !

    The 100 Club

Just wanted to talk about Jean Frédéric Waldeck, french explorateur who died at 109 in 1875 and was one of the very first notable centenarians. Reaching the age of 109 in the XIXth century, moreover for a man is quite impressive. Don’t know if everyone has ever heard about him but I thought it was quite interesting. Before him is there any celebrities that reach or approach his age ?

I’d hope at least Lelouch would get a proper obituary an recognition in England : he is as famous as Trintignant in France and has been at the head of a really famous family

This is just a list of names I found about recently while reading the great book (which I recommand) Je Me Souviens by Georges Perec. This book was published in 1978 so I thought everyone mentioned there was dead but these few names are not ! Delon, Hardy, Godart, Bouquet and Trintignant have been in my french list since I started deathlist. These are the names that I will keep on till they die cause of their notoriety and their age. Bardot on an other hand is not on my list this year but will probably be in 2022 : I don’t see her dying before 89 or 90 but this is the kind who is « too big to miss » in France. if you want french names check my signature !

    Pelé

One to keep an eye on is Just Fontaine, 89 next year and frail for years. Was one of the best of his time.

By DEFINITION : if she’s born 100 before someone, she’ll always be 100 years older than her/him ! Not even mathematic, just logic...

She has already gone REALLY FAR. The fact we’re using hypothetic shows that we have hope for her (or just that we’re too optimistic ?). Anyway, I would really like to see her reach 119 as Knauss and Tanaka in a near future. I think she may well see 118. only 10 days and she’ll be the 4th ever oldest person, tie with Nabi Tajima.

Still has a lot of memories from the two war, able to make joke about tiboinshape beauty (as she’s blind she asks him if he is beautiful, translation for non french speaker), still completely lucid and has some energy, the only thing that has changed is her voice which seems frail but besides it’s impressive ! Looks better than Kane now, I don’t remember if we had a video such as this one when Tanaka was 117 and a half to compare ?! now that I saw the video till the end ( I shouldn’t have ruched in) : she still drinks one glass of wine per day, she had a twin sister who died when they were one yo. Apparently she worked as a nurse in a retirement home till her 100th birthday and had to take care of people who where 20 years less than her. She also remembers all the ages of her great grand-nephews and nieces, pretty incredible. It’s incredibly touching to hear her talk, she had a beautiful langage, the one we doesn’t hear much nowadays anymore

    Queen Elizabeth II

What’s wrong with her eyes and her mouth ? She seems tense. She looks a lot like her mother prior to her death. I’m beginning to wonder if she’s gonna reach the century now...

Ahahah completely dumb, it’s the YouTuber Tiboinshape (huge name in France but quite controversial). on an other hand, she looks old but fine. Still hope she’ll be the oldest alive one day, she deserves it after having been in the shadow of Kane Tanaka For so long despite her age !

  23. Here is two photos of my great grandmother from June 2021. She's still fine, she was recently diagnosed with a tumor on her cheek (doctor seems to believe it's benign but she'll have further examination and operation in a few weeks). She's now 101 and 5 months : still walking, still reading (she has an excellent eyesight) but she's nearly deaf and has recently lost memories… She has lost her husband from lung cancer in the late 80's when she was in her 60's and her only daughter (my grandmother) from breast cancer in 2007 when she was 87. She immediately took her place in my family, being a lovely grandmother for her great-grandchildrens and a caring mother for both my mother and my aunt. I'm still impressed by how though and sweet she is, I love her very much and hope she will still be with us for some times …
