  1. I could well see another hit by tomorrow, someone unexpected like Lansbury or Cardin… I think/hope, this last part of the year is going to be successful

    Alex Trebek

Oh RIP alex.. +1 for me...

    Norman Lloyd

Happy birthday to one of the last remaining giant from golden age ! Won’t be included in next year list because he isn’t famous enough, is he ?
  4. Lafaucheuse

    Peter Sutcliffe

The first hit by covid ?

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2020 List

exactly what I said about the 2020 list : it's not bad, it's rather good, but it could have been at least great if not exceptional (there could have been 4-5 hits more)

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2020 List

I don’t think it’s a good idea AT ALL to have 50 new names ! Maybe it would be better to Forget that « 25 news » rule and just add or drop people solely based on their likelyhood to die rather than on abstract rule...

I had her confused with Paul Gascoigne honestly, they look so similar…

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2020 List

Honetsly, I'm a bit disappointed by the result of the list : if they had kept people like Little Richard, Sean Connery, Jill Gascoigne, we would already be at 17/50… I think that such a devastating years in terms of celebrities and centenarians should have a way higher score (even by that time of the year). Also, I think they're has been some misses by the committee like Ian Holm, John Lewis, Van Halen, John Hume, Kerslake… This is only my opinion and there's still one month and a half to go but… quite disappointed honestly, hope Stiles wasn't the last hit of the year. And I know that saying "they should have kept him or her" is useless but it doesn't mean that we can't say it right !?

    Norman Lloyd

kind of surprised he's still with us considering the last pictures of him and how hard this year has been for centenarians…
  11. Lafaucheuse

    30. Bob Newhart

on a side note, is there any thread here about famous bobs ? we had a few Bobs on last years list and some that may worth an inclusion : Bob Dole, Bob Barker, Bob Newhart now, Bob Dylan, Bob Cousy, Bob Pettit, Bob Weir…

    30. Bob Newhart

you think it's cancer ? it could be… he was under my radar for my 2021 list, I wasn't sure to include him but based on that interview, it's a sure lock for next year shadow list

    30. Bob Newhart

Oh god he looks awful... might worth an inclusion on next year list ?

    Sean Connery

It’s been one week that I thought to myself « deaths are coming » and yesterday When Nobby died, I thought « this is not it, There’s another one coming » : I almost forgot Sean, I’m So very sad...

He is on my french team and Is quite famous in France, surely obitable but I agree that it would be odd to see him on the main list

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2020 List

there's only 9 weeks before the end of the year and I doubt there won't be at last one more hit. My guesses on who is the most likely to die before the end of 2020 are (sorted by probability) : Peter Sutcliffe, Tom Smith, Alex Trebek, Bob Dole, Leslie Philips, VGE and Leon Spinks. All the other ones seem pretty safe for me, but I wouldn't be that surprised to have an unexpected death such as Delors or Marcos

    The 16th Death of 2020

Surcliffe considering he may have covid and apparently had a heart attack
  20. Lafaucheuse

    Nobby Stiles

I really thought there wasn’t gonna have a hit this month ! Quite shocked by this one but +1 for me edit : not a hit for me, I was sure he was on my shadow list but apparently not… Such a Shame

    29. Linda Nolan

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2021

Not a deathlist-kind Of personnality but good for AO deadpool : prince Al-Waleed Bin Khaleb from Saudi Is in coma since 2005. He managed to move his hand for the first time in 15 years a few days ago. One to look after. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khaled_bin_Alwaleed_bin_Talal

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2021

Sidney Poitier is definitely a must-have for next year list, but Sophia Loren ? I don't think she's on her way out (at least I hope so !) If you are searching for strong contenders and obitable actresses from the 50-60's, here is a short list : - Ursula Andress (1936) - Claudia Cardinale (1938) - Brigitte Bardot (1934) - Angie Dickinson (1931) - Barbara Eden (1931) - Tina Louise (1934) - Yvonne Furneaux (1928) - Caroll Baker (1931) - Anouk Aimée (1932) - Gena Rowlands (1930) - Irene Papas (1926)

    Roberta McCain

Kind of sad… or at least interesting considering she was a heavyweight on this site. Nevertheless, rather than Cher's mother, I think Deneuve's mother is on her way out…
