Not famous for anyone except me, but my grandmother is turning 100 today. I’ve waited so long to finally say it ! welcome to the 100 club mamie !
-
Bob Dole and Leslie Phillips wouldn't be that surprising you're right ! I almost forgot Lester Piggott, whereas Joanne Woodward, I just hope this ain't her…

I feel like OdH or Lynn will go soon, I Don’t know why but god that’s strong (I may look like a fool making predictions about Olivia dying soon...)
-
true.. But I really hope to witness someone reaching Calment's age or a bit more in my lifetime, no matter if it's Kane Tanaka, Lucille Randon or someone else !
-
https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tava_Colo it seems like this woman might well be the oldest woman alive, the last person alive from 1902, 11 days older than Kane Tanaka. Nothing contradicts her age but her birth certificate appears to be « unvalidated » by the gerontology research team because it was not the Same one as today... the link is in french btw...

Precisely ! + in some interviews she gave really intimate details about her life as a young girl : How can You know such insignificant details of your mother’s childhood ? edit : + We don’t talk about taking your mother’s identity for a year or 2 : according to that russian theory, she would have kept her mother’s id during 63 years ! It seems strongly unelikely to me
-
Yeah true, but according to her interview for her 115th birthday, she seemed extremely healthy and lucid. Again, it was one year ago and at this age, everything moves so fast, you never know...

Really sad. What a great actor... Rest In Peace +1 for my shadow list -
You think she can reach 120 or more ? That’s seems really complicated to me... however, When she dies, Lucille Randon will be the oldest person alive. She’s french so I would be more interested to see her reach 120 than Kane Tanaka tbh

Yeah, for sure, it's feels like 2016 for me but you're right, we didn't experience that "Death of the Year" feeling… yet ! Precisely, I feel like it's gonna be a huge death, not necessarily on the DL but a well-known and "young" artist you know, something like Johnny Depp or Elton John maybe -

I feel it too… Idk why, this is strange but it has been "quite quiet" recently (despite Little Richard and Stiller's deaths) and I can feel something in the air telling me a big name is gonna drop soon… I thought this feeling would end with Little Richard's death which was pretty big, but it didn't so I'm beginning to think, maybe it's bigger than that ? As big as dame Olivia de Havilland ? I had the same feeling last year, days before Doris Day's death so… -
Remember Charles Aznavour ? He could really be one of those type of picks
-
I took 18 but I beginning to doubt that we will ever reach my prediction : to break the 2017 record of 17 deaths and reach my number, we’ll have to have another 9 Deaths during the next 7 months. Our beginning of year has been quite impressive but it would be pretty unreal to have another run like that for the rest of the year, isn’t it ?
-
At this point, and because of my curiosity, if you had to, which picks would you place in these categories : « will die in 2020 », « uncertain » and « will survive the year » ?

Went with Tom Smith, so it will be Angela Lansbury.

Told you, I doubt there will be a hit due to it : they’re all probably well protected and it’s not like if 80% of the population has had it.
-
No one wins this round. I’ll add your choices tonight, be sure that your date wasn’t already chosen please. + I won’t listen to any @Steve’s prediction again unless you work for the simpsons !

Imagine if the commitee hadn’t drop Jill Gascoigne and Little Richard
