You may read too much into this, funeral and post mortem rituals for such big figure are planned since their accession to the throne (ie. QEII). But I agree that he should be on the list next year and that he is nearing the end

I already consider Chomsky a stupid ommission. As for James Whale. If one of them die this year, they would have been a miss. Like Kaczyinski. The other 3 were not misses for me. Sandra Day O Connor was also a miss : should and could have been on the list several times considering her age, fame and illness. Comparable to Nichelle Nichols back in 2022.

Newhart again. Feels like he should already be dead…

Still sure Carter will make it 2024. I can see another hit like Woodward or Baxter but I doubt we will equal 2020…

I’m late this year. Though I found a prominent argentinian nonagenarian Who recently suffered a stroke. Maybe a good shout ? Will take the risk of putting some french names even though I fear some of them won’t obit… -
my mistake, I dont know why but I forgot to put you on the McGowan hit… fixed that ! Also @Insane you had 3 subs to choose and not two, can you give me another name please ?

CaptainChorizo jumps at second place, just behind perhaps on top position ! I'd really appreciate it if you could take one minute to look at your teams on front page and tell me if I didn't make any mistake while reorganizing all of that !

Be prepared to be slaughtered french enthousiast !! something weird is that Philippe de Gaulle is somehow mentioned a lot around here and as much as I think he’ll get qo in UK, there are more famous french names to consider. I can see Bardot and Delon being included just for their age and famousness but I don’t think Françoise Hardy is the Kind of picks that interests the committee. And as much as I’d like to see Bernie Chirac being in, I know very well this is a lost cause. Too bad, her recent biopic and the major role she played in France politic at the Time (considered to be the french Jackie Kennedy by many) could very well play in her favor On another note, I do not think Bardot is less known than Delon outside France, BB is probably at the Same level as Catherine Deneuve.
