I do agree he looks half-dead already. I’m standing my ground and say he’ll reach 2024 though even if I began to doubt it…
-
That means he’s not bedridden and people around him (and himself maybe) think this trip won’t kill him. Probably has a little energy left in him then
-
Told you, pretty sure he will reach 2024…

Crossposting for those of you Who didn’t see. Renaud looking half dead these days. immortal list candidate to me and good shout for french theme team next year -
No obit for Gerard Colomb neither which surprise me cause the guardian and others made a few articles When he resigned back in 2018 and former minister of the important is an important position. I give up on Colette Maze which did get a fed mentions on uk specialized newspaper but nothing else
-
The only thing I’d be interested in is an app for DL with notifications directly into your phone

Joan Collins ultra glamorous British actress and Hollywood star
Lafaucheuse replied to Gooseberry Crumble's topic in DeathList Forum
New video. Behind the makeup and the strass, you can tell she’s looking frailer. -
It always surprise me how deadly are urinary track infection at that age. Didn’t John Paul II died of it too ? And what was the goal of putting her in hospice care and releasing an official statement if they knew that her days were numbered ? anyway, I’m gonna go against everyone’s guts and say that he will reach 2024. He still seems mentally sharp and that plays a lot in his favor. I do see him dying soon after new year’s Eve (or maybe on new year’s Eve as Benedict and White ?)

a few uk obits for Colette Maze but no qualifying ones as far as I can see… Doubt she wil qo…
-
Dead. Another seat empty.

Leroy est mort, vive Leroy ! Emmanuel Leroy Ladurie, french historian and academician dead at 94. Finally a new hit for my french list ! Was one of my personnal favorite.
-
This pic of him is Absolutely awful. He’s so so week that’s heartbreaking

That’s random. Love that.

few others names that I haven't seen mentioned a lot and that are 100% DL worthy : - Yayoi Kusama : mentioned here, cult pike and imo, the only artist who's 100% worthy of her own thread and DL inclusion. - James Ivory, Woody Allen and Roman Polanski : I know Eastwood will probably be the only filmmaker to make it into the list, but Woody Allen has looked decrepit for years, Ivory is 96 next year (and famous enough) and Polanski's turning 91 with sexual assault condamnation and everything. I don't see any of them reaching 2026. - Isabel Peron : if there is one politician that has been overlooked, it's her. 93 next year, president of Argentina is, I think, famous enough to guarantee tons of qo. Was said to be in poor health a few years ago. - Petula Clark : I always thought she'd be the kind of picks the committee would love. Still, she has been overlooked a lot. Just turned 91 and famous enough. - Quincy Jones : nearly died of Covid if I remember well (do I?) or at least was hospitalized a while ago. 91 next year and ofc famous enough. - Raoni : presumably 91 this year, quite frail in his last appearances, I think he'd be a great pick for non-eu interests and legendary enough - Quentin Blake : few mentions a while ago and nothing since, 91 in two weeks, doesn't seem like a committee pick but a personal favorite of mine and famous enough - Berry Gordy and Clive Davis : weird that they're hardly mentioned here as they're two of the most influential and prominent music produced of all time. Gordy's turning 94 in a few days, Davis is 92. Gordy will probably go first. Should deserve a place on next year's list imo - Don King : wasn't he hospitalized earlier this year ? or rumoured dead ? anyway, at 92, wouldn't be such a bad pick even though he might be less famous than others in this list - Caroll Burnett : still active apparently and doesn't look bad for a 90 woman but an icon and her camp attitude seems like the kind of thing that attracts the committee. And myself. - Jane Goodall : a more niche name maybe but a personal favorite. Dunno how her health is but she's 90 and should be considered. - Valentino and Giorgio Armani : I campaigned for the inclusion of Mary Quant last year. Turned out I was right but was she famous enough ? Imo yes but not for the committee. These two seem way more famous and at 91 and 89, I'd say they'd be great addition - Rita Moreno, Mitzi Gaynor : famous enough, old enough, Gaynor hasn't been seen in a while. Moreno still here and there but a shame that they're not mentioned that much here. - Franki Valli : this one seems to me like the kind to drop dead from nowhere. Canceled a few show this year. Still touring but for how much longer ? He's 100% cult enough and has been overlooked for way too long, at nearly 90 he deserves his spot. - Warren Buffett : in case you're bored of Murdoch… - Shirley McLaine and Warren Beatty : just for the sake of having siblings on the list. McLaine's turning 90 next year, former Oscar winner and icon. Her brother seemed a little frail for his 85 birthday and in recent appearances

a shame, she looked healthy up until the end ! a brilliant woman. Don't think she will obit in UK though, not on my french ddp theme team

Isn’t skin cancer the less agressive form of cancer ?
-
Love her, that’s not a bad thread to be openEd.
-
I think What appeals them with cheney is the heart attack factor : different from cancer or old age which are the main cause of inclusion on the list. But he’s a boring pick : if he had die the first Time on the list it would have been genius but now it’s just relentnesness at this point and I wouldn’t mind if they miss him.
-
Amartya sen sandra day o connor king salman of saudi arabia frank gehry daniel baremboim buzz aldrin (considering all the astonaut we lost recently) bernadette Chirac !
-
Honestly, not sure Carter will die before the end of 2023. An early 2024 hit perhaps but I wouldn’t count on 18-20. More like 15-16 for me, betting on McGowan and someone forgotten like Hal Linden or Newhart

Bill Clinton pays tribute to… Dianne Feinstein ?!
-
Wrong…. the facepalm reaction didn’t age well
-
Actually, not sure his death is imminent. At this point i can see him reach 2024 but it’ll be difficult. I think he’ll be surrounded by all his family and everything more than ever… was trying to figure out the reaction of the family When they learnt that Rosalynn was the first one to go. That is still wild to me

Good gesture ! Mental health is a good cause too
