    DL participative quizz

Given the deadly boredom of the last few days in terms of significant deaths, here is a new game idea (didn't know if it belongs in Deadpool or extra-curricular as it's not a pool per se so feel free to change the place). This is a participative quizz : I'll ask the first question to begin and the first one to answer correctly to it wins the round. As soon as the questioner stipulates that the round is closed, a new round can begin and the winner of the previous round can ask whatever question he/she wants. The questions asked must be about official deathlists and, as there is nothing to gain from it, I ask you not to cheat by watching the infos on the main deathlist page while a round is in progress. I appeal to your common sense and honesty. If someone is caught cheating, then he/she'll be automatically excluded from next rounds. The questions may be, for example : "Who was the first hit of the 2004 deathlist"; "Who was or were the people who appeared the most time on deathlist throughout the year" etc… It's both a game of rapidity (you have to be quick if you know the answer) and of "knowledge". There is no end date to that game, it can lingers as long as there is participant. It's basically a game to counter boredom on deathless days. So here we go, the first question is : At what age and in what year did Lou Rawls die ?

    Ideas and possibilities for 2024

A few A-lister singers that deserves more consideration : - Smokey Robinson (b. 1940) : nearly-fatal Covid which led to a 11 days hospitalization in 2022 - Paolo Conte (b. 1937) : still gave concerts last year but a heavy smoker and doesn't look the picture of health anymore 1 - Johnny Tillotson (b. 1939) : not seen in a long time and stopped giving interview in his youtube channel over two years ago - Frankie Valli (b. 1934) : pneumonia in 2021, surgery in 2023, but still performing at 88. - Mina (b. 1940) : italian icon, quit performing back in 1978 after a near-fatal broncho-pneumonia. Has released several albums since but hasn't been seen in public for a while - Herb Alpert (b. 1935) : old, couldn't find much about him but a well-known and successful trumpeter anyway - Bobby Vinton (b. 1935) : serious case of shingle in 2015, which forced him to retire, hasn't been seen in ages - Clarence Carter (b. 1936) : doesn't look great in this photo from a year ago - Johnny Matthis (b. 1935) : former alcoholic and drug addict, his home has been crushed by storm in january 2023 - Cissy Houston (b. 1933) : old and so frail in her recent apparitions - Judy Collins (b. 1939) : suffers from bulimia since mid-70's, still gives concerts - Caterina Valente (b. 1931) : old french-italian singer - Sly Stone (b. 1940) : frail as shown in this picture from 2015 I'm leaving aside famous picks like Shirley Bassey, Julie Andrews, Willie Nelson, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand etc…

    Rolf Harris

Doubt it. I'd say if he is on his deathbed, I think the family wants some privacy, especially considering his unpopularity : I don't see the family giving hourly health bulletin as it happened for other celebs such as Pelé for example. If the ambulance was for him, the most likely thing is they will announce him dead all of a sudden and quite quietly. Plus, it's past 10pm so I don't see why they would give any news on him at this hour.

I would say his wife is safe, she’s probably 80 years less than him anyway.
