new video of french legendary politician Robert Badinter. Looks pretty damn good for a 95 yo man. Him, Balladur, Delors, Le Pen and Dumas are the top 5 nonagerian politicians in France. They’re undestructible.

My mistake she’s the 5th on the list ! Always Forget she’s still with us. Danielle Darrieux being the first one

Just red this article of Vogue about the most beautiful french actresses and, among the top 10, only Catherine Deneuve and Michelle Mercier (b. 1939) are still alive. The latter has survived a skin cancer, two broken foot and some hospitalizations. She is now obese and supposedly frail. She's a DDP pick of mine. Then in the top 20, we still have 3 actresses alive. - Anouk Aimée (b. 1932) - Marlène Jobert (b. 1940) - Brigitte Fossey (b. 1946) Anouk Aimée and Michelle Mercier sound like the two next to go édit : forgot to link the article ofc

Jerry Spinger dead at 78.

I don't understand how he is still alive. For me he's the ultimate king of immortals
-
Interesting story ! Were you talking about this before both deaths were announced ? I remember a few coincidences about deaths, one of which being me telling a friend that Kirk Douglas would die within a week. He was annouced dead the next morning.

You won ! Congrats ! New round opened and all the entries before count

The real question is : will he attend his wife funeral ? If not then I think he’s fucked

François Leotard (wiki), former french minister of culture (1986-88) and armed force (1993-95) dead at 81. He was also the brother of actor Philippe Leotard (wiki).

Oh ! Weird, it should have been him based on his age. Anyway might be a blow for him…
-
he has his own thread
-
Maybe a little thinner but doesn’t look bad. Could and should have been dropp since 2020.

I know it's useless but if nothing were to change and we'd fastforward to 31 december 2023, here is how the perfect 2024 list would look like : 1. Jimmy Carter 2. Joanne Woodward 3. Jean Sorel (wiki), french actor who starred as leading role in Belle de Jour along with Catherine Deneuve and Germinal will be 90 next year. Surely famous enough for a qualifying obit right ? From that movie (which I'm justing watching right now), Genevieve Page (wiki) will turn 96 this year and Françoise Fabian (wiki), 90.

Do you understand how useless it is to predict the death of a nonagenarian for a specific month in two years ? Your whole reasoning in the above post is useless, do you get that ?
-
You’re preparing a deathlist for february 2025 ? What Kind of person are you ?
-
I know you’re not english and you’re probably doing your best but the way you write those posts is so unnatural. Maybe try to put « …. has died/ dead/ is dead at … years old » at the beginning of the post so we know who you’re talking about
-
I almost put him on my list, I regret it so much he was so so close
-
Yet, none of them recovered from a brain metastasis tumor at 90. He really is the King of immortals.
-
Do you think there could be another one ?

the mysteries around Yvonne Aimée de Malestroit's miracles : a lot of people (around 150) claim she had the ability to "bilocate" which means she can appear at two places at the same time. Some of these cases are well-documented and a lot of "scholars" tend to believe in it. I don't understand how scientific for example can believe in it. The Vatican refused for a long time to talk about it and to take this case in account because it was "too much" but a new case has been deposed for the beatification of Yvonne. What do you think the "bilocation" were ?
