    Ideas and possibilities for 2024

A few people who are turning 89-90-91 this year and who are scarcely mentioned here : • Kim Novac (b. 1933) : hitchock legend • Ornella Vanoni (b.1934) : italian singer • Clive Davis (b. 1932) : producer • Jane Goodall (b. 1932) : gorilla's friend • Carol Burnett (b. 1933) : actress and comedian • Dame Edna (b. 1934) : drag queen • John Williams (b. 1932) : composer • Rita Moreno (b. 1931) : actress legend • Nadine de Rotschild (b. 1932) : socialite • Costa Gavras (b. 1933) : screenwriter and director • Claude Zidi (b. 1934) : screenwriter and director • Nadine Trintignant (b. 1934) : screenwriter and director • Jean Paul Rappeneau (b. 1932) : screenwriter and director I think they would be famous enough to be included into the official list (or at least your personal one). Ion Illiescu (b.1930) and John Stafford (b. 1930) are not mentioned enough here also.

Foreign Personalities, From Stage, Screen, Politics And Life

while sorting names for my longlist of names and googling their name, I just discovered that one of my "maybe" picks has died yesterday : Louis Velle, dead at 96 years old. He was one of the oldest french (hello Ullitzer) actors. He was married to another of my "maybe" picks, Frederique Hebrard (b. 1927), actress and author (probably more famous than him).

I am Marine ! no but the real thing is When you’re on a foreign site such as this one, it’s hard to be accostumed with another culture and way of Life and you have this kind of proudness for your own country and culture that you want to share. Not to talk about the fact that you’re the most able to relay your own countrie’s News and deaths

    1) 1500 words is nothing. 2) if you don’t know Paco Rabanne, you must have lived under a rock for the past 50 years. If you do know him, then you can check facts on him on internet. It takes 5 min. 3) I don’t think I mentioned France every post as you say. And even if it’s the case, then what ? Still bitter about the hundred’s year war ? My french superpower would say to you « va te faire cuire un œuf »

After the deaths of Westwood, Kenzo Takada, Thierry Mugler or Nino Cerruti in the last few years the designers from the 60’s-70’s are few. Mary Quant, Giorgio Armany, Ralph Lauren or Valentino next ? Quite surprised to find out that Valentino is turning 91 this year btw

    Thoughts on 2023 Deathlist

Interesting, I may well make the Same thing ! But then, you have to 1) remember every candidate in the list 2) open the deathlist site and not the forum first everytime you’re coming here 3) not see the first couple of picks of the list, something impossible When I open the list with my laptop fe, I can see the top 5 till the bottom of my screen

    Falling Fauna

yes that's what I thought. I mean 22 is old for a dog but it doesn't ring a bell to me as "groundbreaking". I'm sure I already heard someone around me telling me his/her dog was 18-19 or something like that.

what I wonder is how can one be sure that there is no other unknown older dogs ? similarly to oldest people by the way

    Ideas and possibilities for 2024

actually watching La Piscine with Alain Delon and Romy Schneider for the first time, I discovered a few cast members still alive (in addition to the obvious Alain Delon and Jane Birkin who, as mentioned elsewhere, had a stroke one or two years ago) : • Paul Laffargue (b. 1925) : decorator • Jean Emmanuel Conil (b. 1929) : scripwriter • Alan Bergman (b. 1925) : musician • Maddly Bamy (b. 1943) : actress • Jean Marie Perrier (b. 1942) : photographer

I think Maneskin singer Damiano David won’t live 10 years more. Based on this photo and all the drugs and alcohol he takes https://www.instagram.com/p/CoDSCzDqElL/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
