I considered Ken Block yes. Don't know which one of them fits better this category. The month is not over though. Was Block really famous ? Also, Jeremy Renner would have been a perfect choice for this category.

    Elvis Presley

I already said it but Ulliel was one of the most famous actor in France When he died. Sophie was well known among young lgbt people hence my interest for her. I remember that my social media disn’t stop talking about her for a whole week When she died. and O’Rierdan, I thought as an english person you would say she was quite famous. Being the lead singer of the cramberies is, in my opinion, a great deal. the one that I wasn’t so sure about is Sala, which I never heard off until his death. But I’m not really into football. now the thing with Presley is she didn’t die from unnatural causes like the others. But I would say it fits because no one of them died from an illness. All of them just died all of a sudden

    Elvis Presley

15 january 2018 : Dolorès O’Rierdan, 46, overdosis 21 january 2019 : Emiliano Sala, 28, plane crash 26 january 2020 : Kobe Bryant, 41, helicopter crash 30 january 2021 : Sophie, 34, fall 19 january 2022 : Gaspard Ulliel, 37, ski accident For five years now, every January, we have had the accidental death of a high-profile celebrity. If Presley dies in the next few days, it’ll feel like a curse/club/tradition (like the 27 club ?). We could add the french Cabu (76) and Charb (47) Who died in the Charlie Hebdo shooting on the 5th of january 2015 but one of them is too old to be included in this category, and the other is not that famous outside France I suppose also, is cardiac arrest a natural cause or not ?

Which means Cook and Saint were both 95. Didn’t look bad for that age. Carol Cook looked better though but somehow she is the first to go

    Joe Biden

Pretty sure he has dementia, alzheimer or something related that we won’t know until his death, à la François Mitterand or George Pompidou. Can’t see him being still around in 2030.

    In Memoriam Award 2022

I present to you… the first annual In Memoriam Award Before the end of december (votes close on the 2 of january at 12pm english time), whoever wants can vote by PM for the person who deserves to win in each category below explained. I will then sum up all the votes and come with a winner for each category and two "honorable mentions". A candidate can be nominated and win in several categories. Results will be post on this thread in the first days of january 2023. Without further ado, here are the categories : The biggest female death : the most groundbreaking death of the year, the one which you think was the most influential, the most important, the most… the biggest. The biggest male death : read above… but with a man Most shocking one : the death that you didn't expect, that made you feel like "omg what ?" The saddest one : that one death that, when you heard of, you suddenfly had a speck of durst in your eyes. The best received one : the one that you laughed at, that you acclaimed The most awaited one : the one that wasn't a shock, that was long overdue, that made you feel like "at last, finally !". Immortals and lingerer candidates mostly in here. The biggest survivor : the celeb that you're the most surprised to see have survived the year The biggest miss : the one that the committee should have picked… but didn't The most promising one : the prominent celeb that you think is the most promising to be a hit for your personal list or the official one in 2023 The 50 spot : the most deserving of the n°50 spot on the 2023 deathlist ps : if anyone has a better title, let me know it's currently the obvious and boring one that I went with...

    In Memoriam Award 2022

Ladies and Gentlemen… ! Here are the results of the first ever In Memoriam Award Ceremony ! Biggest Female Death Of course, her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second collected all the votes. Not a single other woman was nominated ! An evident choice. Biggest Male Death Here again, Gorbachev, last president of the USSR, received a vast majority of votes. Worth noting that Pelé and Robbie Coltrane were nominated with one vote each. Most Socking One Now this was a category with very split votes. Shinzo Abe is, however, the winner here with only 7 votes. Kirsti Alley and Shane Warne are tying for the 2nd place. Christine McVie, Coolio, Irene Cara, Bob Saget or Leslie Jordans were also considered with one vote each. The Saddest One Well, it's a tie ! Olivia Newton John and Bernard Cribbins both received 3 votes. A very split category. Honorable mentions : Sidney Poitier, QEII, Deborah James, Loretta Lynn, Tom Parker… The Best Received One The most infamous death this year was attributed to Peter Tobin with 6 votes. Robert Durst was a close second with 5 votes. Also nominated in this category : Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Russell Bishop, Ayman al-Zawahiri, Margot Eskens, Jerry Lee Lewis and somehow, her majesty the queen… The Most Awaited One Here, the votes were quite unanime. Leslie Phillips is the winner of the most awaited death of 2022 with 12 votes. Meatloaf, Tom Smith, QEII, Peter Tobin and Satya Mohan Joshi were mentioned once. The Biggest Survivor Another tie in this category with 4 votes each for Kissinger and Field. Deathlist favorites have been considered the biggest survivor of the year. Will they also survive 2023 ? Let's see… Violetta Chamorro got two votes and several lingerers such as Carter, Barker and Whale got 1. The Biggest Miss With the very late passing of Pope Benedict, a lot of you changed your votes from Olivia Newton John or Nichell Nichols to Bennie. He then wins this category with more than 10 votes. Worth noting that Meatloaf, Madeleine Albright and Bernard Cribbins were mentionned once each. The Most Promising One Well, Rolf Harris wins this category with a quick advantage on Constantine II and Jonnie Irwin. Let's see if this promise turns out to be successful. The 50 spot And finally, you chose Putin to be the n°50 spot. Rolf Harris, Ozzy Osbourne were just behind him and Hazal McCallion, Andy Taylor or Liza Minelli (among others) received one vote each. Well, that's all for this year folks, see you in early 2024 for the next In Memoriam Award of 2023. Thanks for your participation !

Great, you should do that yes, but please, get used to the very purpose of this site because it seems like most of the Time you can’t understand What we’re doing here.

    The 100 Club

Or course it is, this is the very title of the thread ! But if you make a post about someone dead on the 14th of may while we’re the 9th of january, it’s pointless. Do you understand Why it’s iritating ? How old are you ?
  25. Lafaucheuse

    The 100 Club

God Sulu !!!! You have to make an effort now, you can’t continue to spam the forum with useless infos or ones that have already been posted ! There is a search function on the top right, use it ! Also, this is not a site Where to post Randon names : this is a place to discuss and bet on future celeb deaths. Your nonagenarian site is good but is basically useless because it’s just a list of old people. This is not a place to post those people unless you have a new information on them or if they’re dead : most of them have already been mentionned a lot of Time here so you don’t have to post them once more. Please, keep it in mind now !!
