I don't think what he said against women or Greta is the problem. The problem is human trafficking.

tomorrow doesn't count ?

All of that because Romanian police find him after he responded to Greta Thunberg (whom he made fun of on Twitter) in a video in which he had a Romanian box of pizza. Here are the tweets of Greta Thundberg. Delightful.

Need a replacement pick then for several pool

Classical Japanese actress Ayako Wakao turns 90 in 2023. Quite well known in her country.
-
I just send my 3 teams : one main and 2 themed teams. This is my first try at this pool so I hope it works out well for me. My themed teams have a lot of unique picks. Maybe it’ll play in my advantage ? I hope I got the rules right. Let’s see.

Same problem for me but it worked when I clicked on the « DDP email adress » link on the main page of the site. The mail adress is automatically embedded in a new mail and it worked for me

Not a single one of them is dead

Maybe the committee didn’t choose him prior to these news though

There is no list to choose from. The goal is to select 50 names Who could score an english « qualifying obit » (qo) and Who could die in 2023. You’re very much free in the choice of the people and how you make your list : the list is yours, it’s called a shadow list. Almost everyone has one shadowlist. I myself have two : one french, and one international. If it’s your first year you don’t have to worry about that but normally you can’t put more than 25 people from your previous list to the new one. Which means each year you’ll have 25 newcomers or returnees from older years. But again, you’re very free to make your list as you want. You can post it in the « shadowlist » thread in the deadpool section (find it with the search function). also, people here are quite bothered about the creation of new threads so this one will probably be locked at some point but that’s not personal

I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

I myself have a few feelings for 2023. I think we’ll loose a young and prominent figure from an accident in january as usual (after Dolorès O rierdan, Sophie, Emiliano Sala, Kobe Bryant Gaspard Ulliel). Maybe an actor or a singer. I think the start of the year will be a very busy period, especially january. I feel like our first hit will happen very early in the month and will maybe be Pope Benedict. I predict some 3 hits in january with 2 ill lingerers (Benedict and Rolf Harris for example) and one perenial old one (Joanne Woodward or Imelda Marcos). I agree that actors and actress will be at risk this year. I expect one or two legends to pass away (Liza Minnelli, Clint Eastwood, Woody Allen, Maggie Smith, Joan Collins ?) wouldn’t surprise me if we have some health scare from our top survivor picks (Carter, Barker and Shane McGowan) and I expect Barker to die but I think Kissinger will survive despite health issues and frailness. I also think Lucille Randon will die just before or after her birthday. Maybe before. finally, I think we will have big misses from our committee, especially in the second half of the year. -
Absolutely. Even if I see a lot more people reacting to her death rather than Pelés one (but I’m in fashion studies so of course)
-
she was one of my personal favorite designer. So sad, really, I was sure she wouldn't live to 90 but I didn't expect her to go that soon. RIP

Omg it’s true ?

Pelé is a long awaited hit for a lot of you : Sumner in Transylvania, khtonia, wannamaker, perhaps, book, buffalophil, insane, handrejka, theoldlady, Captain Hemlock and Charles de Gaulle; and a miss for joemoneypeney and gcreptile @Summer in Transylvania : Sian Philips in at n°3 and Pope Benedict XVI at sub 3 @Khthonia : James Earl Jones in at n°18 @wannamaker : Joanne Woodward in at n°16 @Perhaps : Chaim Topol in at n°9 and Jonnie Irwin at n°3 sub @Book : Jonnie Irwin at n°12 @BuffaloPhil : Stanley Baxter in at n°11 @Insane : Virginia McCaskey in at n°1 @Handrejka : Bulle Ogier in at n°7 @theoldlady : Rolf Harris in at n°8 @Captain Hemlock : Sally Struthers in at n°1 and Roberta Flack at n°3 @Charles De Gaulle : Jack Nicholson in at n°18 ------------------------------- Linde de Suza is a solo hit for @YorkshireBanker Burt Bucharach in at n°11 then also, Jango Edwards to replace Vilma Hollingberry is okay but you won't score any points for Hollingberry, sorry… for those of you who haven't, please choose another sub

honestly… I'm glad he didn't see 2023, it leaves a space for another name (Linda Nolan or Isabel Peron maybe)

Omg, I really thought he would see 2023

this guy is so weird

I dropped Quincy Jones and Dame Edna to include Shane McGowan and Raoni in my international list. I dropped Edith Cresson and Paul Barril to include François Cheng and Mona Ozouf in my french one. I really hope these two choices will be successful. I had to cut Linda Nolan, Ali Khameney, James Earl Jones, Constantin II, Carol Burnett, Putin, Yoko, Isabel Peron and Lee Majors because of lack of space… Maybe I'll ultimately put one of these mentioned one in at the last minute… maybe it'll be Linda Nolan… maybe Isabel Peron…

Am I the only one whom Mr. Sulu contacted by mp
-
But you know…. Not everyone makes it to 100 or is beyond 100… that’s something for you to remember…
-
I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up at nº1 instead of Pelé or Benedict, just because he’ll turn 100 and because he seems to be one of their favorite. At this point, I think the list has already been made and despite the recent news, I think Benedict will be placed quite low.

he send a letter to the royal family when the queen died. Also, Charles de Gaulle was 1,96m so doesn’t surprise me that his son is as tall

Do I look THAT french ? the rejected were Eugenia Cooney, french hip hop artist Pone (they were both last year but I assumed maybe they would be accepted today), Baroness Jane Campbell, Nathalie Kwadrans, Kerri Parker and Chris Stone. Glad I could put some if my drops in eventually !
