thanks for these details, didn't know that O'Toole and Joan Fontaine died in the same week. A busy one it was.

Has anyone already achieved the trifecta ?

you don't say ! I think this should be the new mantra of the forum instead of "On today, gone tomorrow" : "the deathlist forums - not everyone makes it to 100 or is beyond 100"

So glad ! I wish there was a « in love » emoji reaction or something like that you know -
Another one that I will probably include in several pools : a french politicien Who will most likely commit suicide soon. Risky but given how this are going, I can see only one way out : death !

well, I found 4 new names never mentioned here and quite young that might score some points in several pools. 2 of them were already some personal favorite which I never mentioned here I think : 1. member of a well known group who has cancer and is only in his 50's. 2. former TV presenter diagnosed with dementia with Lewy Bodies several years ago and in poor poor health. 3. former presidential candidate who underwent 4 heart surgeries this year 4. former TV presenter, convicted for sexual harassment, obese, underwent surgery for heart problem some years ago and was on his deathbed back then. Curiously recovered but in very poor health

Because not everyone makes it to 100 or is beyond 100 right M. Sulu ?

I think it was a dog yes. If I find it, I’ll tell you but I haven’t red it in a Long Time funny how I just learnt that it was quite a famous book while looking at comments online and talking with friends. When I recall things from my childhood I always tend to think that I was the only one experiencing/knowing them, glad to see that I’m wrong !

German illustrator Wolf Erlbruch Who created the children book « The Story of the Little Mole Who Went in Search of Whodunit » dead at 74. Quite a popular book in France and a cute one.

another journalist dead while in the World Cup. Khalid al-Misslam has died yesterday, he was a qatar journalist and photographer. No detail on his age or the reason of his death has been given for now.
-
99 and just a few post in his thread in 2022. Boring pick or suspect lack of news about him ? Anyway, I think he can do a Betty White and die just before his 100th birthday.

It’s not because they did a mistake with Gates Sr. That this mistake should be made again. I agree with you though that the one you mentionned were quite questionnable though. I would just like to see more notable people. There is a lot of them quite ill too.
-
The thing is some of the ill people are not famous enough. Sandra Weir for example. I doubt Jonnie Irwin is famous enough too. Same for chris stone. At this point it’s just like picking centenarian and supercentenarian Who are slightly famous like Marita Camacho Quiros for exemple. None of them would belong on the list.
-
Will be back on my list next year. Is he a famous enough celeb to appear on the official list you think ?

Georgia Holt is a solo hit for @Bibliogryphon here : congrats ! James Ivory enters at nº5 and a new third sub is needed
