Several tweets saying he died but probably just fake news. Though this tweet of Christopher Lloyd from from yesterday seems a little gloom
-
Strougal please !

Not Celine… also Why Bruce Willis, did I miss something ?
-
Awful for someone « only » 82. Wouldn’t mind an inclusion

Looking very great ! Will probably reach 92-3 or more

In my "history of fashion class", I have a memoire to do this year around the theme of "the art and the manieres of grieving" and I'm a bit stuck in choosing a subject. Does anyone have an idea of an interesting subject on which there is some articles and universitarian works ? I was thinking of "the royal tradition of mourning in the XXth century" or "the victorian way of mourning" but I'm not sure about it… anyway, as a deathlister, my supervisor could not have found a better topic for me, I'm thrilled about it hence my need to find the perfect subject !

Ahah my bad ! Bush/Gates I always mixed both, don’t know Why

We’ve seen worse soon-to-be 96 yo men to be honest, but I must say he is unrecognizable. I wouldn’t be surprised if he dies before 2023, but at the Same Time I can see him reaching 96. It’s difficult to say based on a single photo but he does look frail (even though I would have guess he would look worse). I would be shocked if he’s not picked for 2023. another photo from the Same shoot apparently

Wouldn’t mind having her, I love Cher and Georgia Holt is at the Same fame level as Gates Sr. I think so it can be argued but I doubt it will happen… (Well, maybe I’m wrong, Bush Sr was in, everything can happen right ?)

Was trending today on french Twitter but couldn’t find out Why. Anyway here is a somehow « new » picture of him. Seems to be weelchair bound and have lost some weight even on his latest journal de bord from 5 days ago, he seems frailer than on the previous one from the 22/10. I wouldn’t drop him next year, seems to be degrading.

If he reaches it, I think Rolf Harris is due to take Robert Durst vilain spot
-
No, What I meant was that I didn’t include these forum favorites in my list of « news » even though I think they all are deathlisty names

New photo from the 23rd of october apparently

Perfect 2023 list : Keep : DVD Kissinger Barker Greenspan Starmer Smith Carter Bennett Belafonte Mel Brooks Attenborough Leslie Philips Rosalyn Carter Sandy Gall Unabomber Le Pen Cleo Laine Jacques Delors Denis Law Prunella Scales Bucharach Stanley Baxter Chomsky Pelé Kundera McGowan Bring Back : Louis Farrakhan Liza Minnelli Ali Khameney Nigel Lawson Jake Roberts Pope Benedict XVI Barbara Walters Willie Nelson Imelda Marcos Joanne Woodward Raul Castro Bob Newhart New : Bernadette Chirac Robert Solow Francoise Hardy Jiang Zemin Giorgio Napolitano Rolf Harris Pope Francis Frank Field Duke of Kent Frank Gehry Michael Caine Constantin II Maggie Smith (I didn't go for famous suggestions such as Glynis Johns, Iris Apfel or Eva Marie Saint because I believe they're not interested in them but rather took names that I guess deserve their inclusion and are indeed in the committee taste)

As shocking as it would be, I don't think Francis would be a miss for the committee or anyone else : his health scare only came to light after the 1st of January and is still quite active despite all the rumors. I don't feel he should have been added to the list in 2022 but I wish he will be in 2023, only for the opportunity to have 2 popes on the same list ! Agree with all of you though, I feel like Benedict will go before Francis, even though a sudden turn for the worst is not unthinkable at this point
-
Oh yes that was the one I was searching for, I knew that there already was two popes living at once but I couldn't remember when or who, my mistake thanks a lot, I'll correct my previous post !

How QE2 can be a miss while being on the list ? Interesting ! -

2022 : Newton John -
She won’t. If she ever was to appear on the list, she would have been put way before

Well, now it's official, Jerry Lee Lewis has decided to retire. A point for theoldlady, Great Uncle Bulgaria and CaptainHemlock : congrats ! No point for @Book nor @Charles De Gaulle as he was your sub, sorry… Can you both choose another sub ? thanks ! @theoldlady : Giorgio Napolitano in at n°9 and Rolf Harris in @Great Uncle Bulgaria : Douglas Hurd in at n°14 and Glynis Johns in @Captain Hemlock: Sam Donaldson in at n°2 and congrats on your first point of the pool and Steve McMichael in and @The Daredevil : I'm afraid it's too late to join, you would have an advantage by choosing people you may wouldn't have choose in the beginning of the pool and it wouldn't be faire to the other players… I'm sorry about it

And Neil Sedaka ! -
I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

Carter or kissinger coule be the last one standing. I feel like Chamorro is an immortal but I doubt she has for much longer. Same for Phillips.
