I don't understand her headline on the front page : is there any reference that I don't have ? I don't get it… There would have been so many catching headlines such as : "the devil got his due", "she won't come home (a dying woman)", "She got caught" or "End of the Lynn" for example…

fixed it, sorry for the miss. Hope I didn't miss anyone else

Loretta Lynn is the first point of this pool (and unique pick) for @Khthonia : Congrats ! Ratko Mladic in at n°9 spot. Please choose another sub to enter at n°3 spot

Why not Jerry Lee Lewis for 2 consécutive country legend hits
-
The devil now really got his due

Such a shame, I didn’t expected her to go this year, love her album "Don't come home a drinkin' man", I listen to it regularly as a huge fan of old country… a miss for me

It's weird to think that there is currently 5 living former US president whereas there is only two former president still alive in France. I know that the length of presidency is one year longer in France than in USA but still, don't know how to explain that… Also, I think I'll have to wait a long time to see a former French president on DL again : Francois Hollande is currently 68 and Nicolas Sarkozy 67 so quite young and both in excellent shape. Finally, there is still 5 living former French first-lady (so as much as US first-lady) : Bernadette Chirac and Anne-Aymone Giscard d'Estaing, the oldest ones, both born in 1933 ; Cecilia Sarkozy, born 1957; Carla Bruni Sarkozy, born 1967 and Valerie Trierweiller, born 1965. The question of including Julie Gayet (b.1972) in this list is quite tricky. If you want my opinion, Bernadette Chirac is the next one to go and I think it'll be pretty soon considering she's weelchairbound, haven't been seen in 3 or 4 years now and is said to be very very frail. A good addition to any list and maybe the official one.

is there any chance that an Android/IOS application will be created someday ? It would be way more convenient and interesting to have notification straight on my phone.

You can do whatever you want with your shadowlist, it’s yours, we just post them here to have a testimony of it but there is no real game with it you know

He has to be the biggest name alive of the current list right ?
-
What are the odds of him being dropped next year ? He seems quite healthy in this last video

Teams summed up in the post above. Welcome to the 26 players of this new round of twisted DL ! The game is now opened and will close on the 1st of October 2023. Have fun and good luck to all

Keeping Loretta Lynn, Akihito, Scales and Joss Ackland over Noam Chomsky, Milan Kundera, Faithfull and Bucharach ? Hum… choices ! Also, agree with your returnees but instead of Musharraf and Redgrave I would have prefered Nigel Lawson and Tina Turner for the newcomers, I love your suggestions but I think there is better picks (and frailer) than Farnham, Watson, Spencer and Plowright. Nicholson is a good addition but I think he has a few more years to live anyway all this is my own opinion

French icon Anouk Aimée, Who starred in La Dolce Vita, Un Homme et une Femme and Lola (amongst others) turned 90 this year. Maybe one to consider. The equivalent of Claudia Cardinale Who will also deserve consideration soon imo

Maybe the official deathlist coule consider any of the 8 you mentionned as they’re famous enough and internationally reknowned
-

Glad so many people are interested in this and that everyone has followed the famousness criteria. One day left before the beginning. I’ll post the teams here by Saturday.

Cher walks the runway at tonight Balmain’s show in Paris next to Olivier Rousteing. Looks wonderful as usual. I doubt her mother is dying if she’s here

Bertrand Cantat, singer of Noir Désir (french well known group) who murdered his mistress and actress Marie Trintignant (daughter of Jean Louis) in 2003 might be someone to keep an eye on : alcoholic, drug addict etc… edit : don’t know if you’ve ever heard about Marie Trintignant’s death but it’s a sad story of domestic violence, it’s a big part of french « culture » and is still often talked about in news edit 2 : just found out that his first wife Kristina Rady (whom he cheated on with Marie Trintignant) died in 2010 from suicide apparently. There is doubt though cause prior to her death, she told everyone around her that Cantat was violent with her since his release from prison…

Reminder that you only have 5 days left to submit a team by mp ! don't forget that people chosen have to be famous in their own rights and independently of their illnesses ! good luck
-
picked him in AO Deadpool as everyone was mentioning him in December last year but I don't even know who he is : can someone explain to me what he's infamous for and what are his health problems ? Is there any chance he'll be the next Ian Brad/Durst on the list or is he less famous than them ?

She looks great !
