Does this mean that you’re part of the misterious group also known as « committee of selection » ?

Congrats for this Quick hit ! Didn’t shock me it was Godard ! new round opened !
-

I just red that organizing the protection around QEII’s funeral have been quite difficult. Imagine : an attack occurs and all state leaders die. That’d be, I think, the only thing that could outdo her death this far.

Wouldn’t mind to have him back on the list next year tho

Agree with both of you ! Actually should have called them « people Who could be famous enough but are surprisingly not considered by thé commitee ». But i doubt Maria Riva, Al Jaree and Amadou Mahtar M’Bow would be on this list
-
Yeah Peron Constantin and Astin could meet the fame criteria I agree but I don’t know, I feel like if they were to be on the list, they would have already been on it already. It’s not the Kind of celebrity Who make the final cute imo : Menem didn’t, we didn’t have any royal european leader outside of UK and there are other well known and iller actor than Astin. Maybe Constantin will be at some point. Lee Grant might be famous enough I think but Same i don’t think she will ever be in

People I’d like to see on next year list : - Liza Minnelli - Mitzi Gaynor - Edward duke of Kent - Pope Benedict - Tippi Hedren - Robert Solow - Joanne Woodward - Eva Marie Saint - Raul Castro - Frank Gehry - Berry Gordy - Irène Papas - Georges Soros - Leontyne Price - Michael Caine - Bernadette Chirac - Robert Wagner - Maggie Smith Other folks Who probably don’t meet the fame criteria but Who will definitely obit : - Lee Grant - Marianne Bernadotte - Benjamin Ferencz - Al Jaffee - Amadou Mahtar M’Bow - Gordon Moore - Gena Rowlands - Isabel Peron - Constantin II - John Astin - Roger Corman - Maria Riva

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CiSrBRvjoX_/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Johnson was asked to talk about her in past tense during a BBC interview a few months ago. They probably knew something was wrong in that moment. do we know if cancer spéculations were True ?

the thing with the Dalai Lama is that it's only a title. He is replaceable. When a Dalai Lama dies, a new one with the same title appears so as big as it will be (because it will be), I doubt it will equal QEII. Also the popes are good contenders but pretty much everyone in daily life has forgotten about Benedict plus we had three differents one since the beginning of the century so people have already witnessed the death of at least one pope and it will miss the "wouah" factor when one of them goes. What I'm searching for is someone who has a unique position and condition, who is widely famous, that everyone knows, even if this person is controversial and who will mark history or at least be a shocking event when he or she dies. Maybe Trump or Obama meet these criterias…

Madonna could outdo her no ?

Someone like beyonce dying in an accident would be a close call too in term of cultural impact on the younger génération edit : maybe DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, jagger or Meryl Streep ? Someone like that you know
