Hello, Probably already commented.... Life expectancy of a 90 year old man is 4 years 2 months. So if the whole Death List were 90, on average there will be 12 deaths. If all the Death List were 94, life expectancy is 3 years, on average 17 deaths. Statistically, choose age over fame. A man who is 90 has 25% of reaching 97, therefore some names keep on appearing but one day the committee will win.

Most of the year we're waiting for the toll to increase then the last few weeks hoping they'll make it to the following year.

Don't know much either however he was friends with Bokassa of the Central African Republic. Bokassa spent the country's yearly budget on a French style coronation ceremony. It was a fiasco due to the heat. VGE lost the 1981 in part due to revelations he received diamonds from Bokassa. As a former president VGE wad funded by taxe payers including, 10000€/month on newspapers...

Not if they drag out like the election. Biden will have the medical staff at Walter Reed looking after him. And Trump will have those at Rikers

COVID 19 - Second Wave
Mort de rire replied to The Great Cornholio's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
France had over 15% death rate, now it's under 1%. Washing hands, wearing a mask and locking granny in a cupboard doesn't explain the difference. Probably in March it was underestimated by 10 fold meaning at it's height, 50 000 daily infection rate. Current rate (second wave) is 8 000, took 3 weeks to double. -
COVID 19 - Second Wave
Mort de rire replied to The Great Cornholio's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
There was a TED talk about how air doesn't circulate in planes, how one SARS case infected 20-30 others. The presenter had a solution to filter air and was trying to sell his invention to the airlines. I wonder if there is a technical reason why people don't smell farts, like due to air pressure either effecting the fart or your senses. Or everyone holding it in for 3 hours ! -
Bernard Tapie, French business man, former minister, owner of Olympic Marseille and Adidas, and crook. He's a dead certainty if he makes it to 2020. Will his death appear in the British media ?

No. Liz & Phil, Saint & Greavsie.

Strange thread. I use to look for promotions until I realised the savings were minimal. I looked at the cost of a meal, packet soup or burgers were £2+, whereas omelette or rice and veg less than 50p. Then I started wondering if I was eating an omelette because it was cheap or because I liked it, put me off. Junk food is subsidised so it's cheaper per calorie List spending in order to get an idea where money is going. can you renegotiate you mortgage ? Have 2 accounts, one for wages and standing orders, other for credit card. Transfer a fixed amount to credit card, doesnt matter if debit dates are correct. Easier to see your situation.
