Too soon. Leontyne Price (Born 1927) is still alive. One of the greatest names in opera.

    James Bond 007 (Connery/Moore/Villains etc)

You're correct. This performance I watched before posting is from last year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSsiRTb-zE4

    Edward Kennedy/Curse of the Kennedys

I just discovered that the "National Enquirer" has a Twitter account & do not want to keep from you this edifying news: She finally beat the booze!

    James Bond 007 (Connery/Moore/Villains etc)

Michael Lonsdale, the baddie in "Moonraker" is in good form & still performing on stage. https://www.sudouest.fr/2019/06/27/libourne-l-acteur-michael-lonsdale-en-dedicace-a-la-librairie-madison-6266579-2966.php I was not able to find recent photos of Sean Connery. The last pics Google images had to offer were from 2017.

She's alive, able to stand on her own feet & paying her respects to justice Stevens.

Foreign Personalities, From Stage, Screen, Politics And Life

A nine months old sign of life from famous French Ballet dancer & movie star Zizi Jeanmaire. The 95 years old is still clearheaded & coherent, but she needs help standing up.

A bad year for great actors. First Albert Finney, now Bruno Ganz. He starred in Eric Rohmer's "La marquise d'O". One of my favorite films. I wonder who will get the Iffland-Ring for the most significant and worthy actor of the German-speaking theatre now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iffland-Ring

Authors Last A Long Time, But....

Mary Higgins Clark is still alive. I wish her a long life, if she is healthy enough to enjoy it, but she's 91 & I enjoyed her novels & I'd like to mention her name...

    Bill Cosby

Cosby is moved to the general population unit in Pennsylvania. He's legally blind & other inmates are assigned to help him. He considers himself a political prisoner like MLK & Nelson Mandela. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6679331/Bill-Cosby-81-moved-general-unit-Pennsylvania-prison.html

Murder On The Orient Express Cast

Such a great loss! I'm really sad. I enjoyed his performances as Hercule Poirot & Tom Jones. And I loved "Two for the road". He suffered from kidney cancer since 2011. His last years must have been difficult. Perhaps we will see how his former wife Anouk Aimee (born 1932) is doing these days. I hope she's healthy enough to come to his funeral.

    Hollywood Possibilities

RIP. I remember especially her performance in westerns. "Bend of the river" (1952) was very good.

    Liam Neeson

This chatterbox seems to be determined to commit career suicide, like Mel Gibson. https://www.thedailybeast.com/liam-neeson-says-he-considered-carrying-out-a-racist-murder-after-someone-close-to-him-was-raped

    Minimalists (and other classical composers/musicians)

I wish to express my belated but heartfelt condolences to his family & his many fans who will miss his beautiful soundtracks. Ennio Morricone & Burt Bacharach (1928), Stephen Sondheim (1930), Jerry Herman (1931), Lalo Schifrin & John Williams (1932) are still alive.
