Who Should Be On The 2019 Deathlist?

Please, don't trouble yourself on my account. You can fill your next death list with the names of super-centenarians. Nobody knows them, but you will have a record number of hits. -
Who Should Be On The 2019 Deathlist?
ThePrematureBurial replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList Forum
Gorbachev & the Queen & the duke of Edinburgh. Pres. Carter & his first Lady & Bob Dole & Henry Kissinger. Imelda Marcos, hoarder of shoes. Doris, Kirk & Olivia. Every other celebrity on the 2018 list can easily be replaced by a more interesting celebrity. -
Britney Spears, Kerry Katona, Heather Locklear et al.

Heather Locklear. The 57 year old actress will be held at a inpatient treatment facility for an indefinite period. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6466047/Heather-Locklear-57-headed-rehab-incident-placed-psychiatric-hold.html I hope it's "just" a drug problem & not Alzheimer's, but her pictures remind me of poor Rita Hayworth, whose illness was diagnosed when she was about as old as Heather. -
These two belong on next year's death list. I wish them a long life, as long as they enjoy it, but how long are they able to hold on?

Senator Bob Dole is lifted out of his wheelchair & salutes president George H. W. Bush.

No more hits. Some famous people will die before the end of the year. Big names you overlooked, like Paul Bocuse & Stephen Hawking.

There are too many Winnie Mandela apologists on Deathlist. But some members posted new photos of Doris Day & Valery Giscard d'Estaing. I thank them, because my visit to this board has not been in vain...

Hadn't he married his first wife, then he wouldn't have been the stepfather of Jack Lemmon's son. Hadn't he married his second wife, then he wouldn't have lived in Donald Trump's future house Mar-a-Lago.

It's so sad. I enjoyed her classy performances in Claude Chabrol's films so much. I did not know that Jean-Louis Trintignant was her first husband. Her death will probably cause him great sorrow. -
And they seem to have kept a lucid mind, especially Mr. Weighton. They are truly blessed.

Budget Household
ThePrematureBurial replied to philheybrookbay's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
If you live in a city with car-parking problems, it may be worth ordering your groceries online & having them delivered right to your doorstep & free yourself from carrying heavy crates. I used to consider this as a luxury, but if you order non-perishables - everything in cans, jars, bottles, rice, pasta, cereals, toilet paper - once or twice a year, especially during the winter, it may be a real relief.- 117 replies

True. And she has just written her autobiography. On the other hand: I remember the time when she helped spread the rumor about Burt Reynolds having AIDS & inflicted irreparable damage to his career. He was suffering from a broken jaw & dentists refused to treat him out of fear. He became addicted to pain killers & was unable to work for two years. She's a mean-spirited person & I don't mind if Bentrovato or someone else is spreading rumors about her, for a change.

Cantat served just four years of his eight-year sentence in prison. -
I wanted to know what became of Jack Lemmon's widow, the actress Felicia Farr (Born 1932). I wasn't able to find new photos & had the impression she vanished from the face of the earth. I found out, that she is leasing her beautiful beach house in Malibu for $12,500 per month. http://www.ranchosantafereview.com/la-fi-hotprop-jack-lemmon-20140821-pictures-photogallery.html There is also a photo from November 2016 on Twitter: Mehr

Jean-Louis Trintignant suffers from cancer & diabetes. He reveals that he died inwardly in 2003, when his daughter was killed. He feels guilty, because he did not make the long road trip to talk her killer down. He also threatened to commit suicide. http://www.purepeople.com/article/jean-louis-trintignant-a-la-fin-de-sa-vie-fait-face-au-cancer_a250204/1 -
Hager had hundreds of grandchildren & thousands of great-grandchildren. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5511961/Rabbi-Mordechai-Hager-dies-age-95.html

Aretha Franklin cancels concerts due to doctor's orders. The show on March 25 would have taken place on her 76th birthday. She claims that her weight loss is due to the side effects of medicine. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5511237/Aretha-Franklin-cancels-concerts-doctors-orders.html

I read his very well-written autobiography a while ago. With hindsight he considers this photoshoot as one of his poorest decisions. He's convinced that his glamorous image ruined the chances of "Deliverance" at the Academy Awards. I like him very much. He seems to be a caring person & people took frequently advantage of his good-heartedness.

But he guessed Malone, Bocuse & Givenchy correctly. Next year, if I'm still here, I'm going to copy his list, so that I can have some hits too. (Only joking)

Congratulations! Do you have a secret source of information?

Herman Wouk - but I'm probably wrong again.

I missed him too. Dying at the age of 76 is not a tragedy. Having to suffer for so long is. I hope that the certainty of knowing that he was a living legend helped him endure his cruel fate a little easier.

Biggest Misses By The Committee 2018
ThePrematureBurial replied to ebless's topic in DeathList Forum
Passive smoking killed Christopher Reeve's widow. Anything can happen: the Queen can pick up a bug & every year heatwaves kill thousands of senior citizens. Her family may even send her to Egypt, if she shows signs of dementia. This worked in Denmark.
