Olivia sang during an all-gay Caribbean cruise & seemed to be in good form. (It's just the Daily Mail, but they have photos & a video): http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5309081/Storm-chaser-Joel-Taylor-died-alleged-drug-overdose.html Olivia has also plans to perform together with Willie Nelson at the Golden Nugget in March. Her daughter is unfortunately a problem child: Anorexia, cocaine, one bottle of vodka a day, mixed with sedatives... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5314969/Chloe-Lattanzi-discusses-battle-depression.html

I think that Tessa Jowell's death will come as a merciful release.
-
She survived a hip operation & her mom is still alive. I hoped that she would exploit the death of her odious stepmom & write a tell-all book (the fact that Barbara's son is a lawyer seems to frighten her, though). Lately, dear Nancy has become unhinged & deals out blows left & right at Twitter. She called NRA members "murderers" & ICE agents "nazis". I'll keep an eye on her.

Pictures from yesterday's concert in Lyon. Charles Aznavour will celebrate his centenary in a couple of years. He's incredibly tough. http://www.leprogres.fr/rhone-69-edition-lyon-metropole/2018/01/20/harles-aznavour-a-la-halle-tony-garnier

Charles Aznavour plans to buy a car & visited the Renault factory in Flins-sur-Seine last week. Today he will give a concert in Lyon & tuesday in Marseille. There's one place he won't visit this year: the otherworld. http://www.leparisien.fr/yvelines-78/flins-sur-seine-aznavour-en-balade-incognito-a-l-usine-renault-12-01-2018-7497600.php

...but I'm not an expert panel that cleverly overlooked the most famous chef of the twentieth century.
-
And his name was not included in the official death list... Thank God, the committee has not forgotten Charles Aznavour, who is fit as a fiddle & has a major concert tonight, in Lyon, where Bocuse ran five restaurants... Definitely the biggest miss of this year, so far.

What are you going to do when someone really popular like Sean Connery dies? Declare that just the first posting counts & berate all the fans who dare to post a link to other websites? For many people like myself, who were children during the 1970ies, Peter Wyngarde was some kind of cult star. Department S & Jason King were two of the few shows for grown-ups my parents allowed me to watch & this actor gave me great pleasure.

Today Sen. Bob Dole received the congressional gold medal. He was able to stand during the anthem & made a coherent speech without relying on a teleprompter. But he was also coughing & sneezing & had handkerchiefs on his lap.

President Trump will give Bob Dole the congressional gold medal, the nation's highest honor. Tomorrow at 3 PM in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol. I remember when Frank Sinatra received the congressional gold medal. He died half a year later. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/trump-to-give-bob-dole-congressional-gold-medal-nations-highest-honor/article/2646081

1. John Tyler was 63 when his son Lyon was born (1853). 2. Lyon was 71 when Lyon Jr. was born (1924), and 75 when Harrison was born (1928). 3. Both sons are still alive. -
A couple of famous artists who are still alive: Carmen Herrera 1915 Gerhard Richter 1932 Arik Brauer 1929 Christo 1935 David Hockney 1937 There are also some younger artists who, I think, are exposed to considerable risks, since it became known that they were among Tony Podesta's favorite artists: Marina Abramovic 1946 does just the usual satanist stuff, like spraying blood & other bodily fluids. The following painters/photographers however, have created some eye-catching artworks: Patricia Piccinini 1965 Sam Taylor-Wood 1967 Anna Gaskell 1969 Margi Geerlinks 1970 Biljana Djurdjevic 1973 Two things may happen: 1.They may attract the attention of some weirdo obsessed by "Pizzagate". 2. The DOJ suddenly becomes adventurous & starts to investigate the Podestas & their ties to the Clintons. And we know that bad things happened to people with insider knowledge about the Clintons...

Don't underestimate them. They were the ones who published Mel Gibson's phone calls a couple of years ago.

I was surprised that nobody had these two famous widows on their death lists. (Joan is technically just an ex-wife though). Ethel Kennedy will celebrate her 90th anniversary in April, and Joan will be 82 in September.

French President François Mitterand died from prostate cancer at the age of 79. He concealed his condition for most of his presidency.

I hope I will never reach this age.
