I'm not surprised. She was ready to go. She lost nearly everyone who was dear to her. Her only daughter in 2016. Her husband of 30 years in 2018. And her former husband Michel Piccoli just a few months ago. RIP, Juliette. -
Ok: What did I do wrong?

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous
ThePrematureBurial replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
There has been some activity on the James Bond thread, after the passing of Diana Rigg & Michael Lonsdale & I was curious to see what became of Britt Ekland. She looks good for a nearly 78 years old, but her seven years old grandson suffers from ALD, a brain disorder that causes sight loss, inability to walk & early death, usually before the age of ten. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8690673/Britt-Ekland-77-describes-agony-finding-grandchild-deadly-illness.html -
There is a rumor on Twitter, that President Trump will spend Friday night in Miami - where Barbara Lagoa lives.

He died in his sleep in his apartment - What a beautiful way to be taken. He was a very romantic man. Decided to remain single, because the only woman he loved - Delphine Seyrig - was married. RIP, my 10th hit of 2020. -

Don't be a spitty talker & avoid using the consonants "p", "t" and "k". https://www.forbes.com/sites/alisonescalante/2020/09/08/why-speaking-english-may-spread-more-coronavirus-than-other-languages/#69a4e00a6eea -
Seems that someone tried to poison him with ricin.

I want to be fair & cordially congratulate you for having guessed right. I won't even nit-pick because Ennio Morricone or MIrella Freni were more famous. Gates Sr. was famous among deathlisters, famous enough to have a Wikipedia entry, the committee has a hit & he won't be on next year's list.

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
ThePrematureBurial replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I listened to this song just two days ago (& liked it). There's nothing wrong with your musical taste, I remember the summer of '78, when this was the most frequently played song on the radio: -

These reaction videos on youtube are a real treasure trove for great artists & songs. There was too much hard rock for my taste, but I discovered: The Alan Parsons Project (Eye in the sky, Don't Answer me, Ammonia Avenue, Old & Wise & everything else, of course) Leonard Cohen (Everybody Knows, The Future, Waiting for the miracle, Paper Thin Hotel & everything else, of course) Chris Rea - I love "Fool if you think it's over", but I deserve a badge for listening to his entire "Blue Guitars" album. Tom Waits - I just finished listening to his first album & I'm already certain that I will enjoy the rest. -
Meet Lee Grant (born in the mid- 1920ies), who knows the secret of eternal youth... ...but I prefer to remember her like this:

But they were not as famous as these two ladies. Nobody from the official list died in August & I remember that one member of this forum feared that this was a bad omen & that the grim reaper would get him.

Since he has his own thread, I won't mention his name in "ideas & possibilities for 2021", but it's time to remind everybody, that he suffered from pancreatic cancer & diabetes & collapsed on stage three years ago. His official site has not been updated since. He didn't look too bad in his interview from october 2019, but this was the last sign of his life that I was able to find online.

First Diana Rigg & now Shere Hite. Death is obviously back from his summer vacation.

I'd rather try my luck with her own series, like "Diana" (1972-73) or "Mrs. Bradley" (1998-2000). She made also tv-remakes of "Witness for the prosecution" & "Rebecca" that weren't too bad & I liked two of her movies: Agatha Christie's "Evil under the sun" & "Theatre of Blood" with Vincent Price. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001671/

Diana Rigg's passing was mentioned in the "British Character Actors" thread, of course, but let's not forget that she was also George Lazenby's leading lady in "On her Majesty's Secret Service". I wondered if this year's death series was coming to an end, but now I think that Diana's death may herald the second wave. -
Our favorite president denies the rumor.

Ok, this Catturd is a Trumper & not everybody will like him, but nobody who opens a thread with thousand fart jokes can be a truly bad human being.
