Littman met a number of celebrities, including writer Truman Capote, who is said to have based the Holly Golightly character in Breakfast at Tiffany's after Littman. Michel Auger, a big name in Quebec journalism, has died. He was 76. Auger's speciality was crime reporting, something that didn't endear him to the local underworld.
