Unfortunately, it didn't. That's the one I originally sent. Waiting to hear back on a 2nd option sent, but mostly just waiting to hear that Hulka has, himself, found an obit he'll accept. Thanks for trying.

Well done!

This is certainly shaping up to be an interesting day. Fatima Ali was my third rejected alt.obituaries deadpool pick to die in January. However, that's not why I'm posting. I had Bruce Corbitt in the Deadpool. Also picked him last year. However, he is not a guarantee to get a qualifying obituary. None of the metal sites will suffice. It needs to be picked up by either the local affiliate of a U.S. national network or Billboard, which profiled the band last August. We will see.

Unfortunately, he's a disqualified candidate for deadpools because he's not (quite) human. RIP Swedish Chef, gone to the great meatball in the sky.

I think this guy might just want to check his pulse a little more often...just to be on the safe side.

I'm another one of the six people who chose Ali as their joker in the DDP. Third rejected alt.obituaries deadpool selection to die in January (but who's counting). The recent pictures of her bedridden made it hard to believe she was only 29. Not sure if it was talked about in any Deathlist thread but the other Top Chef competitors from her year reunited a couple of weeks ago to visit her in the hospital. A lot of mainstream coverage from the likes of People magazine.

Thank you.

I guess Andrew Fairlie becomes my first ever hit in the DDP. A 'rejected' pick in the alt.obituaries one. Also means rejigging my planned Deathlist Cup team. I suspect I'm not the only one.

This could be the closest to an actual obituary that Jeanne Mockford will get. -
Admittedly, when I posted the Maureen Murphy bio, I'd not heard of her. (Upon looking at her credits, I vaguely remember her New Hollywood Squares appearance.) However, to have been booked on the Tonight Show multiple times -- particularly during the Johnny Carson era -- was of great importance to an entertainer's career in the U.S. Carson giving you 'the nod' meant you'd made it. Murphy may have been lesser known than other comedic contemporaries, but appears to have had a respectable career doing stand-up in the 80s. Conversely, Elayne Boosler is a name I recognize, having been a stand-up comedian by trade and having appeared on numerous American shows as herself, with a cross-section of credits as an actress. Alison Arngrim played 'Nellie Oleson' for eight years on 'Little House on the Prairie'. The others I don't recognize.
