Jason Cirone, who played three games with the Winnipeg Jets in 1991-92, has died. He was 53. Dr Dániel Karsai, who in June 2024 fought and lost in the European Court of Human Rights, which declared Hungarian laws denying euthanasia did not constitute an infringement on the fundamental rights of Hungarian citizens, has died. Ozzie Virgil Sr., Major League Baseball's first ever Dominican-born player, who played 324 games combined with several teams between 1956 and 1969, has died. He was 92.
