Ik term of swing states carried, yes. It's hardly Reagan 1984 though. Nobody called it a land when Biden won 6 out of 7 battleground states...
-
I wish people would stop calling it a landslide. It just wasn't and it, republicans want to make their mandate seem broader than it actually is: By either reckoning, his margin over Vice President Kamala Harris was about 1.6 percentage points, the third smallest since 1888, and could ultimately end up around 1.5 points. (New York Times ) I agree with you that presidential pardons are unjust though.

What is John Paul II doing there

This was originally reported in... 2011! https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/funk-legend-sly-stone-homeless-239989/ That's the internet for ya.

Yes, it is distressing to see. He does not look like someone who's able to eat or drink much if at all. I hope they're not just prolonging his suffering by feeding him using a nasogastric tube or something like that.

So sad to see him in this state. He seems to be pretty much unresponsive in the footage I have seen. My grandma is pretty much the same way atm, but he looks so much worse.. One would assume days, but then again..

I was just thinking about the fact that Rosalynn's funeral was about as long ago from today as this picture of Prince Philip was taken before his death. He looked so incredibly ill compared to Phil and yet, he's still going.

Sure this isn't a promo for Grey's Anatomy season 64? What do you make of the new interns, doctor Webber?
-
Yeah, it's just not going to happen. He for sure is one of the immortals now, and you kind of expect him to just keep going. But realistically.. I found another picture of him from the peanut event thing, and he does look like someone receiving hospice care... seeing 2024 will be a stretch I think.

Visits Beijing. I could not find a photograph of the meeting. A farewell tour with all the greatest hits apparently. Next stop Hanoi?

Picture of health and a nice tan!

He appears to have a bit of a shuffling gait.

I would be surprised if Clinton made 98, and Biden also seems to be getting a little frail. I can see Dubya making it though.

Watson is a must for next year. Big name in science, plus the casual racist title is vacant..

Dutch princess Beatrix (former queen) also in that picture, first row on the right along with the king & queen.

A serious stroke is plausible, especially since she was kind of ok a few days ago. And in that scenario it is not impossible she will live on for some time, although she will probably be incapacitated since the situation is clearly grave. My grandfather lived on for almost two years after a debilitating stroke, although I wouldn't wish the way he was in on my worst enemy..

To be honest I always thought that was a bit unfair to Heesters.. The question he was asked (in Dutch, a language he no longer spoke well after so many years in Germany) was about what Hitler was like personally. He wasn't asked about his views on the nazi era, but about what Heesters thought of him when he met Hitler back then.. It really feels like a setup when you watch the clip. What a trainwreck of an interview with Ecclestone. Holy shit

Interesting. I never knew Anne Buydens wasn't his mother. Sorry

Who would have thought two years ago.. Current global death toll sits around 6,2 million. So they were off by only 90%! Which for National Enquirer standards, is pretty damn impressive.

Mumbled his way through Dirty Old Town the other day. Apparently the first time he has left his home since last year's knee injury.
