I've listened to the album several times and I understand that it was mostly written when she was 28. She recently turned 30, and posted a photo receiving treatment a few weeks ago, but seems to be more stable now. It's common for near-death experiences to make people reflect on their mortality. Doesn't mean they're dying any time soon. I watched this podcast where she talks to her doctor. IMO the illness faking accusations above are unfounded. Some people are just sickly and modern medicine allows them to stay alive, whereas they would have perished 100 years ago. She talks about wanting to have a second child so I don't think it's a dire situation.
