Um, he is, clearly, obese. Doesn't mean death impends though. Being Canadian, I am too polite to call him a fat fuck.

I looked up some news about the pocket rocket, and the first mention of his dementia in the media seems to be 2015, but given the major decline in memory soon after that, I'd say his diagnosis was likely some time before that. Many people don't disclose the diagnosis until they can no longer hide it, which can be a few years after diagnosis. A guess, if the dementia gets him, could be a few more years. But many people die of other things first, especially since many treatable diseases aren't treated in later stages of dementia. So sometime between tonight and 2022. You can probably guess I avoid dementia patients in my dead pools.

And Robin Williams knew it, too.

If he was only diagnosed with it in 2015/2016, it is unlikely he died from it. Something else got him first, like heart or cancer or any of the things that afflict us. Death from dementia (all forms) is slow and lingering over a decade or more, and the final nail comes when you can no longer even swallow safely. It is a blessing to have a heart attack or die from a fall, at least in my mind.

It's an IV pump. No way of knowing what's in it though. Could be anti-biotics if he has an infection, or just saline if he is dehydrated.

Huh. That's rough. But thanks, now I understand.
-
Hmm. Don't know what that means.

Being new, I'm not exactly sure what constitutes a QO, but wouldn't this work for Remigino? https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/12/obituaries/lindy-remigino-olympic-champion-runner-is-dead-at-87.html

This most recent (?) photo of Kulsoom Nawaz lends credence to her poor health. NG tube in place for feeding, trach vent in place for breathing. These are not things that are put in place lightly, although I suppose they could be faked. Looks real though.

If he is still washing his hands with carpet cleaner, he is still pretty early with dementia. When he starts drinking it, he is maybe mid-stage. Late stage means immobile in a wheelchair, full care for all bodily functions and advanced stage is no speech, no recognition, eventually unable to swallow. At the stage he is at, he could last 5 years easy, likely more, unless something else gets him first ( like drinking carpet cleaner). From diagnosis to death with Alzheimers can be 10-15 years now.

Maybe someone could start a thread thread...

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
Skinny kiltrunner replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Working my way through the top 500 albums according to Rolling Stone magazine. Started at the bottom, a few real duds in the first 100, but now that I am in the 300s it has been pretty good. Helps pass the time on my long runs, and has been a nice combination of nostalgia and stuff that has been new to me. I have been surprised by how much I have liked some things I thought I would dislike and never would havegone to otherwise. A good way to get out of a listening rut. -
Difficult to know for sure obviously, but maybe they (meaning family or perhaps medical staff) are hoping for some change in level of consciousness, so are keeping her on the ventilator for now. Must have been some major damage to still be unconsciius this long after a heart attack. Regardless, she has throat cancer too, and the prospect of prolonged intubation or tracheotomy can't look good. Can't be long if she doesn't regain consciousness, or maybe even if she does. A week, tops, is my prediction. Likely less.

Likely papparazi trying to get a last photo. Probably worth a few bucks.

Been skulking here for a bit. Here is my first contribution: Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, Pakistani first lady, deteriorating. Ok, now someone can tell me I posted in the wrong thread. https://www.geo.tv/amp/199260
