I am now up to 12 hits here following the death of Ethel Kennedy.
-
Ethel Kennedy is a hit for me in this pool
-
My grandmother pulled through after a stroke in January 2017 but still died just under a month later. Whether she pulls through or not this will definitely leave Ethel in a more fragile state than what she was in before.

I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020
Steve replied to Gooseberry Crumble's topic in DeathList Forum
I say without doubt bring back Liza Minnelli, Yoko Ono, Douglas Hurd and David Attenborough back onto next years list and add the likes of Tippi Hedren, Julie Goodyear, Jean Marsh, Joan Plowright, Don King, Franki Valli and Sidney Cooke then the 2025 list could be like hitting the casino jackpot especially if the current sick/ elderly frail lingerers stay with us until midnight on New Year's Eve. -

Yes I agree with you completely but I also consider the wider picture that even if that doesn't happen in the remaining 3 months then next year and the coming years will deliver big rewards for us deadpoolers. -

@Gooseberry Crumble I still believe strongly in the power of the enema. Exciting times to come I reckon. -
Personally the only two I consider are safe drops are Julie Walters and Louis Farrakhan. I agree with @msc a few posts above that James Whale and Linda Nolan can't go on forever with terminal cancer. Sonny Rollins "how the hell is he still alive with his pulmonary fibrosis condition?" Tom Baker, Dennis Skinner, Buzz Aldrin, Robert Wagner (COPD), Pete Murray and Robert Duvall are all in their 90s and at this point in their lives a fall or common cold could finish them off.

CONGRATULATIONS to you @chilean way for your hit with Milton Thiago de Mello

I still think this was a good list and with 3 months to go still has potential to achieve a score close to double digits. But I will continue with my feeling that a quiet year this year gives us strong potential for big successes in 2025 and beyond. Plenty of overdue candidates if they don't go before the end of this year which include Jimmy Carter, Noam Chomsky, Denis Law, Nigel Starmer-Smith, Joanne Woodward, Cleo Laine, Esther Rantzen, Hans Blix, Jean-Marie Le Pen, Roberta Flack, Willie Nelson, Dennis Skinner, Norman Tebbit and Sonny Rollins. Plus I think Dick Van Dyke is now a serious contender along with some of the other old hanging fruit such as Stanley Baxter, Sandy Gall and Gene Hackman. Then there are the lingering cancer survivors such as James Whale and Linda Nolan. Candidates to consider for putting on in 2025 include Johnnie Walker, Don King, Jean Marsh, Richard Wilson, Michael York, Michael Schumacher and Grace Slick. Returns for Yoko Ono and Linda Ronstadt (maybe). All these names I can see helping DL achieve big in 2025.

@Hell, hope you are well? Missing you! Not seen you on here for ages. I do hope if you have left that you decide to rejoin as I always thought you offered a lot to this forum. Especially when at one time you posted in the Happy Birthday thread plus some of the pools.

Bless you @MariNisia for seeing that and pointing it out. I didn't even notice that my team wasn't on the master list.
-
Lol, I think @gcreptile you need to give yourself a Dunn emoji as @RetroGamer47 already reported this death in the Hollywood Possibilities thread.
-
Whilst I don't necessarily agree she will die at 71 i am in support of this thread. I lost a friend in 2003 from complications resulting from rheumatoid arthritis and she was younger than Kathleen Turner.
-
Well done @gcreptile all those you mentioned are now gone.
-
500 points for me following the death of Sven Goran Eriksson as I also had him in my number one spot.
-
Congratulations @drol and Efrain Goldenberg for me again please @diego
