Why do I get my access to this site restricted at random intervals and then all of a sudden allowed back on again. Is this to do with site maintenance? It is really annoying

Geoffrey Chater, actor and poet will be 98 in March
-
A list of names I thought I would offer as possibilities - Bob Newhart, Gene Hackman, Clarissa Eden, Robert Fyfe, Freddie Jones, Loretta Lynn, Cleo Laine, Debra Paget, Max Von Sydow, Stuart Hall (surely it's time for him to be knocked out), Kenneth Cope, Jean Boht, Sandra Day O'Connor, Mark Eden, Hans Blix

Just 8 weeks from midnight tomorrow and we get to see the names that the committee have provided for Deathlist 2019. I am starting to work on my shadow list. I did a provisional one in early September which I posted on this forum page but have changed it several times since then and I am sure I will several more times throughout this month and next.
-
So is he actually dead then? I hand been trying to research major news channels/agencies but can't see anything.
-
Pam Ferris who was notably famous for featuring in dramas such as Darling Buds of May (Ma Larkin) and Where The Heart Is (Peggy Snow) is starting to look frail
-
Possible Formula 1 deaths that would be highly obitable and news worthy if they happen in 2019: Stirling Moss (if he survives 2018), Murray Walker, Bernie Ecclestone, Niki Lauda, Michael Schumacher, Sir Frank Williams, Sir Jackie Stewart and Mario Andretti. Based these suggestions purely on age and known illnesses. I know this counts for nothing, lol, who knows we could have a surprise deaths that included Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen
-
Are there actually any obits for Peter Benson? I haven't seen any?
-
Grim Reaper very busy today with the sad losses of Burt Reynolds, Liz Fraser and Peter Benson. Glad I did not include any one of these in my two posts on 4th September showing my provisional list for 2019. My two posts showed named 1-25 and then 26-50 as Sean pointed out I was 25 names missing.

Will I be eligible to submit a 2019 shadow list this time? Last year for 2018 I did it for my own personal pleasure as hadn't registered to join this site. I put a provisional list together in October 2017 and two of my selections died in November 2017 (Keith Barron & Charles Manson). My two substitutes have died this year (Ken Dodd and Mary Carlisle). So far I am on a very low 5/50. Oh well I find this site interesting, fun and knowledgeable

American actress Julie Adams famous for featuring in films Bend of the River (1952) and Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) and the tv show The Jimmy Stewart Show turns 92 in October
-
Thought I would offer some suggestions as just caught a glimpse of ITV's former long running police drama series Heartbeat. With Bill Maynard who played Greengrass dying back in March this year aged 89 other surviving cast members could be possibilities such as: Derek Fowlds (Oscar Blaketon) turns 81 on 2nd September, William Simons (PC Ventress) will be 78 on 17th November, Gwen Taylor (Peggy Armstrong) will be 80 in February and Peter Benson (Bernie Scripps) who turned 75 back in June
-
One of my two favourite tv mini series from the 1980's was The Winds of War and War & Remembrance. Some possibilities from the cast still alive who starred in either or both include Jeremy Kemp (aged 83) he also appeared in Z Cars, Stephen Berkoff (aged 81) played Hitler in War & Remembrance, Ali Macgraw (aged 79), Ian McShane (76 next month), Chaim Topol (83 next month), John Rhys-Davies (aged 74), Barry Bostwick (aged 73), Kenneth Colley (aged 80), Sami Frey (aged 80), Hardy Kruger (aged 90) and Brian Blessed will be 82 in October
-
Hans Blix is a good contender. He his a 90 year old Swedish Diplomat who also led the weapons of mass destruction delegation team prior to the Allied invasion of Iraq in 2003.
-
Debra Paget, she will be 85 in August, starred in many films such as The Ten Commandments. Another name to consider is Caroll Baker who will be 87 at the end of this month, known for starring in films such as Baby Doll, How The West Was Won and The Big Country.
