I'd like to join this game again! Thanks for running it @Spade_Cooley
-
Yay! While it won't go in the records, I think this is the first game I've won on here. And congrats to @Bibliogryphon, well played!

Two uniques: Thelma Ruby for Coronation Street and Kanye West for Brit Awards winners (one can hope) Just missed out on a unique in F1 as @arghton and I both have Keke Rosberg. Of the living world champions born mid-1940's and later he seems to be the frailest (since we don't know anything concrete about Schumacher).

You could summarize all of H&M's "tell all-interviews", books, Netflix documentaries and comments by means of a Mötörhead cover: A waste of space, a waste of space!"
-
I do like the Portugese versions of these names you made @diego; makes them sound rightout exotic ! When the time comes I'll look out for obits about Normando Tebbit and Dick van Dique

Correctlist 2023 entry 22 hits Henry Kissinger Bob Barker Alan Greenspan Nigel Starmer-Smith Jimmy Carter Jacques Delors Bobby Charlton Robert Wagner Joanne Woodward Joss Ackland Jean-Marie Le Pen Milan Kundera Norman Lear Rolf Harris Ryuichi Sakamoto (joker) Willie Nelson Dennis Skinner Nigel Lawson Sonny Rollins Mohamed Al-Fayed Linda Nolan Andy Taylor I can 't really see this list scoring that high. But then, I also can't see most of these names surviving for another year.
-
Another great list full of miracles and walking skeletons. And I like the inclusion of Van Agt; don't think he is particularly close to death but he did have multiple health scares in recent years which would have killed loads of people his age. Perhaps his passion for the Palestinian cause keeps him going now the Israeli government takes a turn to the right.

Some great names you've selected! This was my first try at a Dutch shadowlist and I immediately see some names on your list I had forgotten about or overlooked. Had some difficulty listing 50 names so I feel the same about some of my lower listed picks as you do.

Not Pelé, Barbara Walters and Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI/Joseph Ratzinger -

While I don't easily wish bad stuff upon people, I'm glad at least he has some bad luck after what he's done. He was an influential man at Ajax for years, all the while sending young co-workers pictures of the wrong kind of balls, and after the news dropped and he had to leave, found another job with Antwerp in a couple of weeks and went on with his career like nothing happened.

You've done the -6 correctly but you can also give +4 to another song you want; And it's probably best to delete the (+/-) made by the previous poster to lessen possible confusion (in this case, the -6 for Shakin' Stevens). Some of the voters also mark their votes in bold but that's a personal choice. 29 - Blondie- Atomic 28 Olivia Newton-John & Electric Light Orchestra – Xanadu 27 The Specials – Ghost Town 27 David Bowie & Queen – Under Pressure +2 27 Soft Cell – Tainted Love +2 26 ABBA – The winner takes it all 25 The Specials – Too much, too young 24 Kenny Rogers – Coward of the county 24 Adam & the Ants – Prince Charming 24 David Bowie – Ashes to Ashes 23 Police – Every little thing she does is magic 22 The Jam – Going underground / Dreams of children 22 ABBA – Super Trouper 22 Adam & the Ants – Stand and deliver 22 Julio Iglesias – Begin the beguine (Volver a empezar) 21 John Lennon – Woman 21 Barbra Streisand – Woman in love 21 Blondie – Call me 20 The Pretenders – Brass in pocket 20 Fern Kinney – Together we are beautiful 20 Detroit Spinners – Working my way back to you 20 Johnny Logan – What´s another year 20 M.A.S.H. – Theme from M.A.S.H. (Suicide is painless) 20 Odyssey – Use it up and wear it out 20 The Jam – Start 20 Police – Don´t stand so close to me 20 Roxy Music – Jealous Guy 20 Shakin´ Stevens – This ole house 20 Bucks Fizz – Making your mind up 20 Smokey Robinson – Being with you 20 Aneka – Japanese Boy 20 Dave Stewart & Barbara Gaskin – It´s my party 17 Dexy´s Midnight Runners – Geno 16 John Lennon – (Just like) Starting over -6 16 Human League – Don´t you want me 13 Don McLean – Crying 12 Kelly Marie – Feels like I´m in love 10 Blondie – The tide is high 09 Michael Jackson – One day in your life 08 Shakin´ Stevens – Green Door 02 John Lennon - Imagine -

That made even me feel old and I'm only a few years older than you! -
@Bibliogryphon looks like it'll be a tie between us in the second part of this game; we both have Pelé which brings our (probably final?) score to 16 hits.

This has turned out to be a very exciting final, top 3 seem to be in balance between members and are just slowly spiralling down. -
At least we haven't seen a picture of him in an Adidas vest, he would have been long gone by now. Might last a few days but don't see him alive next week.
