Could I suggest Kåre Willoch(B.1928) He was the prime minister in Norway from 1981-1986. He was diagnosed woth cancer back in april 2016, and a stroke in december 2019. He lost his speech after the stroke, but seems to recover from it slowly, he also said in march 2019 that his cancer was gone. And even after this health issues and also looking frail, he still takes daily walks. Anyway just a suggestion

So now that Collins is dead, Aldrin is now the only one still alive of the crew to Apollo 11. So I think he should be in the 2022 list and forward if he is still around when the year ends, so we can have at least one of the Apollo 11 astronauts pn the list Imo.

Well today it is a decade since his wife killed herself, and he is still alive and just 9 days shy to his 97th birthday. Never thought he would last so long.

Well guess Phil is the most significant death this year, and this decade so far.

Some pictures of King Harald V from last week, from his brother in law's funeral Erling Lorentzen who died at the age of 98 earlier in March. He is using crutches there from an knee operation a few weeks ago, and is sick leave right now untill april 11th. He has been that quite sometimes the last few years now with Dizziness, fever and heart operation vack in october. Still think he gonna be here for a while, but one to look out on

I understand why many of you are frustaded of this thread. Didn't think so many would complain about this. And yeah I know it is an astronauts thread, but I think Buzz Aldrin is to important to not have his own thread. He was among with Neil Armstrong the first people to ever walk on the moon. And since Armstrong died back in 2012, and was not on the main list was a big miss, so I think Aldrin should be included later on the list in the future somtime. He is still very healthy yet, but when you are 91 years old anything could suddenly happen, like for example Christopher Plummer was really fit and in good health right before he died after a fall and was big shock when he died. And he was and i 91 years, so as I said anyrhing could happen at that age.

90 years today
