Fantomasss replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
The 1st big miss of French Deathlist, and may be in the top 5 of the most important french moviemakers still alive ? It's really a sad news -
! He seems in good health, but the fact to be interviewed at his home makes me think to the last interviews of Badinter, he could die this year

It's a good French selection, I'm sure that we can make better than our list 2024! Now "Gabriel de Broglie n'est plus immortel"

oh my god Champagne ! Compared to Thatcher, Le Pen's death party is like an apéro without alcohool
-
Is there another death in Deathlist history which was celebrated in the street as it's for Le Pen ?
-

I dont like to be happy when someone dies but this man was horrible, bon débarras ! And with his death it's a big page that is tuning in France because he was the last surviving prominent French political leader of the 20th century

Benoît Allemane, famous in France for Morgan Freeman' s french voice is dead. https://www.allocine.fr/article/fichearticle_gen_carticle=1000122211.html

Yes I Hope her to stay alive but with this cancer she could die very young like Valérie Benguigui...
-
Yes and it will be probably 20 with Gabriel de Broglie too ! Traditionnaly, there is 1 or 2 deaths by year at French Academy, but the last was in 2023 with Hélène Carrère d'Encausse. With 3 of the oldest members of Academy in the list : Cheng, Fernandez and de Broglie, I hope that we will have 1 or 2 hits this year...
-
1e personnalité française décédée cette année, Louis Schittly, cofondateur de Médecins sans frontières avec Bernard Kouchner.
-
A first hit for my list with the death of Agnes Keleti ! Even if her death is not still announced by international medias...

Thanks we took time to make 2025 be "un bon crû" ! Interesting the names but a lot of them are still very active Lionel Jospin and Pierre Richard, or not especially famous in France like Claudine Longet or André Oumansky. It could be the year for Jean Sorel or Jacques Charrier, and also for Gérard Depardieu that could be the biggest miss if he dies this year.
