Once the first one has spoken out, getting others to follow is much easier.

The Times tomorrow has my favourite headline and "unfortunate" front page layout:

Another ironic/poor choice of venue to campaign at: https://x.com/jamiesont/status/1808250458915721350

Grant Shapps has it all covered. He plans to "significantly increase" the size of the army by giving all the existing soldiers 3 additional pseudonyms each.

Not the first to say this, but this theoretically means Biden as President could order for Trump to be shot and claim immunity.
-
Johnson's used to being on his hands and knees too.
-
Ironically I do think Trump returning will lead the US towards the reforms it so badly needs, but only after effectively destroying it all in, to quote An Inspector Calls, "Fire, blood and anguish!", such that everything has to be rebuilt from scratch, maybe even literally. The other problem of course is when the "US sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold", were there no major global consequences I and I imagine many others wouldn't give a toss who is in charge across the pond.
-
Perhaps his inner circle have intervened in private and he's refused. There are reports that only a select few individuals are capable of forcing his hand on this issue, including his wife.
-
We shouldn't be asking Biden and Trump why they are running at their advanced ages, we should be asking all their donors* what they have that means they are getting backed over younger alternatives? *In reality the volume of money in US politics is way too high anyway, but that's another debate entirely.

Just to check do we submit entries into this thread for this game once the game starts?

Just like all the live coverage building up to the Queen's death (if you could even get onto the Deathlist site that was).
-
Oh yeah nothing suspicious to see here:
-
I wonder if there's a subliminal message in this one:
-
The Farage ones on here go to prove that while there is a notable number off arse-lickers who blindly praise and support him, a much larger proportion of the population do not approve of him, to the point of preferring Sunak over Farage.
-
I remember in 2017 James Acaster joked about what a UKIP-Green coalition would be like, where he said "they're going to be planting lots of trees which from the air spell out "fuck off home!""
-
If we get a result anything like that, all the media will have to censor it in the morning headlines/front pages because it would be considered "graphic material".
-
Reform being the party of workers is as believable as Hannibal Lecter saying he's the voice for vegetarians.
-
He's the political equivalent of herpes, disgusting and keeps coming back.
-
Grassroots campaigning for much-needed reforms of the whole political shabang. I know quite a few campaigns expected to be ramping up after this election with the aim of influencing the following election. Voting reform will be top, but there will probably also be campaigns around media reform, party donors, House of Lords abolition, etc. More of the population need to realise that democracy is not about one vote every 4-5 years, if they're not happy with the state of play, they need to get off their backsides and do something about it another way.
-
They should change that from days to hours.

Thanks to the Malaysian native language, Farage is a fanny by name and by nature:
-
Yes I used to get sick of this lot bragging about "winning the war" and boasting about Churchill and whatnot. I never thought I'd say I'd rather they go back to doing that compared to what's come out now.
