Unless that "failing significantly" means going in the next month, sounds like a return for next year and much higher up. My favourite of his many Queen's speech quips was "Any Tory moles at the Palace?" in 2008, as the outgoing Black Rod then said "I'm going to miss you Dennis."

The talk I've heard is Sunak wants to get an India trade deal over the line to enrich his wife further. If that happens he'll have nothing to lose, but until then any sign of breakdown and he might be wary. -

If I've got the same person they are standing down at the next election anyway, so if found guilty they won't be behind bars before the General Election (given how close it is and how long it will take to get to trial and pass sentence if guilty), and they'd have to resign before then for a by-election to occur.
