The Telegraph have found "new information" on Prince Andrew, with a front page that even The Daily Star would reject as being "a bit much":

Whenever in the future his death comes his obituary will now include being fined for lawbreaking twice* while in Government: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-64353054 *At time of posting

Dick Cheney was speaking at a blockchain conference in Singapore last year (as was Boris Johnson), so it's clear both he and his grifting ways are far from dead.

Andrew Bridgen has had the whip suspended for covid vaccine misinformation, where he likened the programme to the Holocaust. Conservative MP suspended over Covid vaccine comments - BBC News

If you need the lottery numbers this week give me a bell ;)

Did you mean Chirac? Unless there's another famous person with that surname Jacques Chirac died over 3 years ago. I agree the others should have been added/kept.

Saw him at Hyde Park in 2010 when he visited the UK, which for some reason was hosted by Carol Vorderman.

There are also rumours that the arrest was possible then because in his attempts to get back at Greta Thunberg he revealed his location/being in the country through including the Pizza Box in his video. This has also led to jokes around Andrews getting done over by pizza.

If he goes before the end of the year, he won't be the first senior cleric to go right at the end of a year they were not on the Deathlist, after Desmond Tutu's passing on Boxing Day last year.

If you're referring to my earlier post, I was suggesting it would be Pele's that overshadows Maxi's, not the other way around, because, as much as I enjoy Faithless' music, in general Pele is more prolific as you say. Apologies if this was not clear first time.
-
If Pele goes imminently this could be another of those Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett, or JFK and C.S. Lewis instances.
-
If "I can't get no sleep" tonight, this is why.

Doesn't look like this was reported here before, but today is the Stretford and Urmston by-election, triggered by former Labour MP Kate Green becoming Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-63971031

Yes I remember there being a stir on here when the 2022 list was released regarding the fact Frank Field wasn't on it, so would be a good pick for next year, unless he does a Desmond Tutu and goes on Boxing Day.

Dying not from cancer but from "Neymar's ego" would be quite the twist.
-
I don't know, the economy could really do with a boost from all the parties that will happen to celebrate his demise.
-
True, at least any treatment costs will be easy to cover as the gravy train of Christmas song royalties comes in.
-
If he goes this month does that mean "Fairytale of New York" will be being played on repeat on every radio station?
-
Presumably any announcement will aim to avoid an unsociable hour in Brazil time (3 hours behind the UK), so if he does go today, we may not know until tomorrow unless it happens before midnight UK time.

Cricket is most prominent in countries that are former British colonies at the height of the British Empire, and what's now Guyana is the only part of South America that is a full ICC member, as part of the West Indies' team. If Pele goes in the next few days there could be another example like Diana + Mother Teresa or JFK + CS Lewis, where one death overshadows the other, in this case Christine McVie.

Rosie Cooper now officially stood down:
