Yes it's enough to avert a recall petition, and as she doesn't seem to be up for resigning a by-election looks off the cards. It looks like she isn't getting the Labour whip back so come the GE that seat could be interesting.

I think this makes it more likely she won't physically be at any of the Platinum jubilee events, or at best a brief appearance somewhere (like the Buckingham Palace balcony).

If that ever becomes me I'd be trying to arrange an "Old Man's friend party", if there is such a thing, in the hope that I can be put out of my misery before all that suffering and expense happens. Somehow don't think the Queen would do this.
