Interestingly, I see Rotherham have now lost three straight games which has taken them from what looked like a certain automatic promotion place to only a playoff position - and if they don't arrest the slide quickly they could even miss out on the playoffs. Could Paul Warne soon be under unexpected pressure - reminder he would be a hit for everyone except msc, and would leave RoverAndOut with just one remaining manager.
-
Yep the presumable sudden availability of Sam Allardyce means a hit for both @RoverAndOut and our erstwhile gamerunner @Miracle Aligner putting them on 18 and 14 hits respectively. Last week Crewe parted company with David Artell, giving me a 16th hit. Scoreboard : RoverAndOut 18 BuffaloPhil 16 @Great Uncle Bulgaria 15 @msc 15 Miracle Aligner 14

I make it 2281 (500 + 400 + 300 + 275 + 225 + 180 + 160 + 120 + 100 + 21) assuming a sub goes to position 21 and everyone moves up one? (If the sub simply replaces the pre-start death in the same position, then I think I'd be on 2400.) Don't think I'm close enough that it'll make a difference, but worth checking!

Fine by me, and I can't give up on Big Norm now, so I'll keep him and you can have Hurd. Of course, I fully expect Dougie to draw his last breath as soon as I hit Submit Reply...

Getting even closer! Come on Tebbit!
-
Wow is he really the first hit, at the end of March?
-
Tom Parker is a nicely high-scoring hit for 24 of us.

Go Tebbit!

You're on 15, @msc. I'm also on 15 with Mark Warburton, Pep Guardiola, Paul Warne, Michael Duff and David Artell remaining. Agree re Pep - I suspect he wants to win the Champions League with City, but wouldn't be surprised if he left as soon as he does, maybe this is their year? Duff - yep that was a bad one! Warburton is doing better than I expected at QPR but their managers don't tend to last so I think he may be out if they end up missing the playoffs. Warne, as discussed above is probably in place until at least mid-next-season. And Artell - my other unique pick - must be a good shout to go soon with Crewe rock bottom of League One. I'm not sure Hasenhuttl will get poached any time soon - bigger clubs will not have forgotten that he's presided over not one but two 9-0 defeats for Southampton, even if he's doing a decent job overall.
-
Yep @RoverAndOut is perhaps surprisingly the only player to hit with BIelsa, putting him two clear with only three remaining - Corberan, Dyche and of course Warne, who we're all (bar @msc) waiting on and who doesn't seem likely to go anywhere in the foreseeable.
-
Thanks Kenny, I missed that one! That moves me into joint second : @RoverAndOut 16/20 @Great Uncle Bulgaria 15/20 @msc 15/20 @BuffaloPhil 15/20 @Miracle Aligner 13/20

James McPake has been sacked by Dundee as they battle relegation from the SPL - this is a fifteenth hit for @msc, moving him level with @Great Uncle Bulgaria in second place, both just one hit behind the leader @RoverAndOut.

Ooh! Come on Tebbit, get your clog-poppers on!

Nice rundown, makes it easy to see who I want to die (for want of a better phrase!) - for me it's Joe Exotic, Yoko Ono and Mel Brooks who'd fuck over the most teams whilst leaving me unscathed!

Yep all five contenders score with Grant McCann. Apologies - particular to Rover And Out - but I had him in the lead on 16 prior to McCann's sacking, when in fact he was on 15. Current standings : Rover And Out - 16 (remaining managers : Paul Warne, Marcelo Bielsa, Carlos Corberan, Sean Dyche) Great Uncle Bulgaria - 15 (remaining : Tony Mowbray, Paul Warne, Paul Doswell, Hakan Hayrettin, Danny Bloor) msc - 14 (remaining : Ralph Hasenhuttl, Pep Guardiola, Michael Duff, James McPake, Brian Reid, Ian McCall) BuffaloPhil - 14 (remaining : Mark Warburton, Pep Guardiola, Paul Warne, Michael Duff, Darren Ferguson, David Artell) Miracle Aligner - 13 (remaining : Sean Dyche, Paul Warne, John Coleman, Nathan Jones, Graham Potter, Gary Rowett, David Moyes) Paul Warne is now the most picked survivor as everyone other than msc has him, and with Rotherham challenging at the top end of League One he may well stay for a while.

Claudio Ranieri has been sacked by Watford. That's the fifth Watford manager to leave the club in the 556 days since this thread was started

That's one that has upset me. I was only listening to I Would Do Anything For Love on the way to work this morning. RIP.

Only one miss so far as well. Annoyingly healthy bunch, it seems.

Looks like it may well come down to the cabinet ministers.
