69 No Doubt – Don’t Speak 47 The Prodigy – Firestarter 42 Aqua — Barbie Girl 42 Mark Morrison – Return of the Mack 41 Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffanys 41 Spice Girls – Wannabe +1 40 Olive – You’re Not Alone 35 Oasis — Don`t look back In Anger +1 33 The Verve – The Drugs Don´t Work 32 White Town – Your Woman 29 The Fugees – Killing Me Softly 29 Blur – Beetlebum 25 Spice Girls – Say You'll Be There 25 Gina G – Ooh Aah … Just A Little Bit 21 Various Artists – Perfect Day 3 16 Will Smith – Men in Black -3 15 The Fugees – Ready Or Not 7 Spice Girls – Spice Up Your Life +2 7 Babylon Zoo – Spaceman 6 Spice Girls – 2 Become 1 6 Chemical Brothers - Block Rockin Beats Perfect Day is quite good for a charity single (not saying much), but it features a 'look at me' line from pet hate Lesley Garrett, who thanks to good marketing had a profile and earnings far in excess of what her (miniscule) career in top flight opera houses would suggest was appropriate.

    Football

Agree with most of this, although I think Leeds may join Saints and Bournemouth, like Saints they don't have anyone who can consistently hit a barn door and are also poor in defence. Palace are good in defensively and should be capable of grinding out a few results against those around them. Much as I'd like to see them go, Everton look better under Dyche, as do Wolves under Lopetegui. Leicester and West Ham should have enough to stay up considering both have most of the same squads that have finished top half in recent seasons. Forest are out of form but have a decent manager and think they could survive by the skin of their teeth. Personally would like Saints to stay up, going to St Marys next weekend with one of the young wombles to see them play City but the squad isn't good enough particularly up front and in goal. Romeu has been a big miss this year.

Only heard it once or twice 28 (?) years ago but from what I recall the Will Smith song is just a cover of the less than wonderful Forget me Not by Patrice Rushen with some rapping on top so down it goes.

I have no recollection of any of these - the fact that most of them - bar GM - haven't moved off 20 suggests that several other people don't either. Or at least that none of them arouse very strong emotions either way in people. This is a much better round than the last one, there's 7 or 8 goodies left still and most of the remaining rubbish is concentrated at the right end.

I'm old enough to remember the self-effacing We're on the March with Ally's army We're going to the Argentine And we'll really shake them up when we win the world Cup Cos Scotland are the greatest football team Followed IIRC by a draw with Iran, defeat to Peru and a return on the first plane home. Three Lions is mostly bemoaning the fact England had won nothing for 3 decades.

I've kept it to the music throughout. I didn't downvote Glitter either (although he was always gone within the first couple of hours so there wasn't that much opportunity). I probably downvoted two little boys as it's dreadful, but can't be bothered to go back and check. I've been concentrating on Boyzone and the like thus far this round. I shall get round to R Kelly in good time I assure you :-) Genuinely intrigued as to why people who rush to downvote Glitter and Harris on moral grounds don't do likewise to kelly, whose crimes if anything seem to be even worse. The BLM reference was an attempt at wordplay/humour, which wasn't intended to be a general accusation of racism, so apologies to anyone who took it as such.

Odd how the moral guardians rush to downvote Messrs Harris and Glitter but convicted sex offender R Kelly remains unmolested (unlike his victims). Do Black sex offenders' lives matter more?

I gave Spice up your life +1 (stop smirking at the back) but somewhere in the correcting that was going on it has gone back to 20 while 2 become 1 (which is rubbish) has gone up to 21 instead. Maybe next poster could rectify this. Thanks.

Charity singles, boyband rubbish, Robson and Jerome. About a dozen to get rid of before I even contemplate downvoting the teletubbies...

Thought it started and finished well but lost impetus in the middle episodes. GAB & I have really enjoyed Shrinking on Apple Plus. Last episode of S1 dropped yesterday.
