It's the better of the two by some margin, I'll give it that. Just realised I've seen 5 of these songs performed live by their respective artists (7 if you count the two already departed Mud songs). Not sure if that makes me lucky, sad or just old. No, not the Rollers.

I'd say just about everything from the three degrees upwards is a minor classic. I think Bohemian Rhapsody is overrated/exposed and Stand by Your Man/C & W not my thing at all but I can see why others like them. The last 10-12 is going to be quite tough. Is it our large Scottish contingent keeping the Rollers in comfortable mid-table whilst better stuff disappears down the plughole?

Only place for me too, and a wildcard. Only place for me three. I've still no idea who/what she is (or was) but lots of greater minds than mine seemed to think she was a sure thing so I took heed....

Glitter has (correctly) been persona non-grata for about 25 years and yet record sales of other shaggers of under age girls (Elvis, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee lewis, Bill Wyman amongst many others) or people who went to bed with young boys (looking at you Mr Wacko) seem to have carried on regardless....certainly not advocating a rehabilitation of Mr G (whose crimes do 'trump' the others by some margin) but there are some double standards at work out there....
