He surely obit if he died during his work or in otherwise suspicious circumstances. Obviously not as big coverage of Maire Colvin but he get in the Guardian at least.

I doubt she would put a statement out saying no cancer and will work from home next week before returning then step down a day later.

Unlikely- it was not known she was publicly ill at all and it's been said her colleagues only found out since new year that was ill.
