The Evening Standard suggests she won’t be running as independent candidate quoting her as saying she is going to campaign for a Labour Victory.
-
I was active in Labour for a bit and saw her speak in person once at an panel event. She was friendly enough and looked healthy but she was spouting a conspiracy theory about the number of dead at the then recent Grenfell disaster at the time which was later proven to be false. She was saying she was sure more than 100 had died and it would soon be revealed that was the case but it never was.

Because it would still be a big story on the election coverage if a high profile candidate lost. -

If he gets selected foe the Tories then he should be on the Portilo moment. Ditto James Cracknell could be on it - high profile name trying to defend Colchester for the Tories. -

Decent chance it will partly because the PVV is polling well at the moment. -

Often someone from the main party does actually run the government. It’s unusual to bring someone in. -

I’m surprised the print edition of Metro is actually massively interested in a pensions story as its average readership is likely younger than many other papers due to it being an urban commuter paper. -
She feels like someone who if fully well would have been on both left wing media but also maybe as the left wing voice on more right wing media as well. But it’s nearly all be written statements and comments recently. Which is untypical for someone who used to be very high profile and a media regular. (Until 2015 she was way more famous than Corbyn was).

It’s notable just how quiet in the commons she has been in the last 18 months - particularly when you compare her to Corbyn or McDonnell (He is standing again btw).
-
It sounds like she might have taken the deal that the whip is restored in return she announces her retirement. Also journalist Lee Harpin has tweeted she has health concerns.
-
Rayner’s seat is only 10-12% Muslim. I can’t see her losing it.
-
It’s not known if she will stand as independent. Many have speculated she won’t.

He is basically a puppet surely for Wilders and the other coalition leaders. -
Blocked from standing for Labour. Will she stand as independent- or even appear more in public so we can asses her health.

So You Gov shows pretty much a tie in if National Service is supported or not but with a massive age divide - clear evidence the Tories are mainly running a shore up the core vote/ save 200- 240 seats strategy -

BBC have had to applogise to Nigel Farrage. -
My MP. Don’t think she is unwell to the extent that we should think she might be a DDP Hit next year through - she has been out campaigning in Colchester (Labour have pared Safe no hope seats with target seats) per her Twitter feed.

Inheritance tax abolition is clearly the next policy. -
True but it has been used in the commons as a description quite a bit since and I think will become a title from now on.
-
That’s was partly because Skinner didn’t turn up. Plus the other Worthing seat is such a big target for Labour they might send cameras there.

She needs to be put on the Portillo moment list. It’s not that likely but if the Tories do fall to 150 seats or less she could be out.
