Guido Fawkes are saying the Goverment is planning to ban under 16’s using mobiles. -
They might but his MP’s won’t back the unions. Starmer is perfectly willing I Susoho to cut all ties.
-
Keir Starmer and his team have pretty much been handpicking every candidate. They will be very few if any candidates who are likely to be rebelling. Party members have only been allowed to vote for those deemed loyal.
-
They do in Ireland. I listened to Ireland playing on RTE Radio online the other week and they called it it Soccer.
-
His dad had been an MP.
-
Such a rule would have disqualified Tony Benn.
-
Plus they are many other issues to deal with than where the public if they were angry enough can vote against them.
-
But they can vote for a different party or an independent.
-
If the public do not want them they don’t have to elect them.
-
Labour are not in favour of removing him as a speaker and the polls predict they will have a majority. And if they don’t them and The Lib Dem’s (Also supportive of him) may have a combined majority.

Angela Rayner is surely resigning after the latest story. Starmer has no real need to protect her - he is so strong at the moment the unions can be pissed off. -
That’s odd. The current You Gov MRP puts the Tories as losing all their seats in Cumbria in the general election.
-
Certainly. His birthday has gotten local BBC coverage.

I wonder if Wragg told the honeytrapp which heterosexual MP’a were rumoured to cheat on their wife’s. Feels odds that Dr Luke Evans would be included on the list (and sent a naked women image) when he is married unless he suspected he might respond positively. -

Why am I getting the feeling a big policy for the Tories in the election will be a proposal for a return of national service. -
I would say it is. You would be sacked in many jobs for that. Particularly as the Times are implying it might have outed some people maybe not in the closet.
-
I wonder if we might soon be seeing a by election in Hazel Grove?

Hard to tell. Shapps, JRM and Mordaunt all won their seats from Labour so a Labour Goverment winning them shouldn’t be that shocked Hunt would be a shocker but going Lib Dem means it’s not so much part of the wave. Also Portillio going was not expected by many and in those days there wasn’t the same news cycle compared to know where everything is expected before hand so they are less shocks. I think a lot of people through do assume JRM has an ultra safe ultra Tory seat when actually his seat is not particularly posh or wealthy. -
I think it works better on stage than on screen. On stage things are often non realistic in so many ways while screen stuff always feels more realistic. When I saw Streetcar Named Desire last year there was no proper set but that would look very bizarre on screen.

I feel like if she had been sacked or quit in a dispute it would have been fully dealt with a lot quicker. Which points to health issues. -
I think it works better on the stage. You can be more fantasy in storytelling. In film and TV colour blind casting is more noticeable. The black Anne Boleyn drama got terrible ratings on TV and I suspect the casting played a big part as it would have put of many of the core audience for a historical drama, I awe the Sound of Music last year and a couple of the Von Trapp kids were non white which does stretch realoty plus some of the Nazi’s were non white as well - the later is starting to rewrite history,
