Well, the Italian President is quite frequently someone thats really old. Napolitano was elected at age 81 and ruled till age 90.

woulda been interesting to see Kim Jong Un have a ceremony for him at his 100th, thats all. Im always annoyed when 99 year old people die. If that ever happens to me, I will have the doctors keep me on life support by any means till one day after my 100th. That'll burn all the inheritance money for my children, but at least it'll be for a good cause.

simple wikipedia deleted it as well now

Thanks for replying again. Yeah, I am always itchy when I see people on the "oldest state leader list" who might be dead cuz that would make the list inaccurate especially when they're in a top spot.

Do you think that the NK Government will acknowledge Kim Yong-Ju's 100th Birthday, or will we just have to forever wait for the confirmation of his death that may never come?

https://www.voanews.com/a/cameroon-paul-biya-marks-39-years-in-power/6302673.html Paul Biya, Prime Minister (1975-82) and President since 1982 has his supporters seemingly move for another term for him when his current term ends in 2025. He will be 92 years old then and running for a 7-year term. Seems like a Mugabe parallel to me. He also has no clear successor so the army might step in (theres also a Ethnic Civil War going on so they have some power already so the army has the national security excuse). Mugabe was also couped a year before he wanted to go for yet another term, so Paul Biya may be someone to watch in the next few years. -
Got some award from the eternal crown prince, looking decent I guess, walking with a crutch though.

Friendly reminder of how quick decline can happen.

He can refuse the throne right? Different monarchy of course, but I remember in Russia in 1917, when the tsar abdicated his son and the Grand Duke Michael were the successors but they both refused the throne which effectively ended the monarchy in that case but would just pass the title to the next in the UK's case.

thing is, this usually happens way more often to Men who's wives died, not so much the other way around

Was also the last Romanian Fighter Pilot according to a few news pages I auto-translated. Fought missions against literally everyone, Soviets, British, Americans and Germans.
