that ends a statistically almost impossibly long drought (since Feb 14th) in the top 100 oldest living state leaders list. Someone should statistically die every 15 days and yet it took 111 days

According to this Website, theres an exactly 20% Chance she'll die at age 94 so 80% survival chance. The Data for the US tho altho that might actually better her survival chances. https://www.ssa.gov/OACT/STATS/table4c6.html

Today now marks 3 months (Carlos Menem on 14th of Feb) since the last death on Wikipedia's 'Top 100 oldest living State Leaders' list (plus the addendum of 5-10 more unconfirmed leaders). Literally none of them has died for a quarter of a year and the youngest of them are a few months from 89 and the average age is 93 or so i'd guess. Given even Western Life expectancies, that seems to be a real oddity and rather unlikely to happen (didnt do the math tho ).

"Candidates cannot be famous solely for the fact they are likely to die imminently" Read the rules properly.

In between Nixon and JFK there is Lyndon B Johnson who was born in 1908, so Reagon wasnt older than the past four.

Raul is planning to step down as leader of the Cuban Communist Party during the next party convention from 16th-19th April 2021. Big Move as he's still considered the real leader in Cuba and now him and the entire old guard of the leadership (nearly all fought in the Cuban Revolution and are in their 70s, 80s and 90s) is said to be replaced next week. Article mentions him stepping down. https://www.economist.com/the-americas/2021/04/10/cuba-may-become-the-smallest-country-to-make-covid-19-vaccines

Life expectancy varies for each person with AD. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is eight to 10 years. In some cases, however, it can be as short as three years or as long as 20 years. AD can go undiagnosed for several years, too. In fact, the average length of time between when symptoms begin and when an AD diagnosis is made is 2.8 years. from some article

Funny moment, I came to this forum in full expectation to see Prince Phillip trending cuz I saw a few articles about his hospital admission but then Rush Limbaugh is dead as well. -
hes barely out of the list, 31st place he was

Here is one (the one on the left btw)

well he better hurry up if we're to have a hit in January

Quite remarkable that right now theres 3 living state leaders who are 99, then nothing for a while and then only some of age 96 right now, although that will change very soon.
-
Glad we picked him over, lets say the decade-long supreme leader of China whos 10 years older. or say the last leader of the USSR and ender of the cold war whos 5-6 years older.

If he actually resigns that would be so lame. Its the same with monarchs in many european countries except the UK by now. Theyre supposed to rot on the throne till death and nothing less!
-
well he is the first one since jimmy carter, carter himself wasnt the first one either.
