Ah its the opinionated one... Y'know being critical of everything doesnt make you sound smart right?
-
I found it generally condescending, I'm pretty sure everyone here knows what cropping is. And no this isn't always the case, although I admit that I made a fair few dumb posts in my first few months so I probably deserved it then.

I was starting to believe she was going to make the worlds oldest thread.

Never has anything warranted an 'ok boomer' more than this post in all the 13 months I've been here. Its basic online editorial tools that come as a default on your phone, you have to be retarded to not get it. In fact, just hold down on the image (with your finger, any finger) and you will see a "save photo" option. Make it easy on yourself. Plus people can then see the meme without looking at how much battery you have left. The time you've spent justifying your uncropped meme could've been time spent cropping it.

This source says from diagnosis someone has 12-18 months on the clock - with 25% living past 12 months. Probably goes without saying that Tom Parker is a good candidate for next year's list.

You asked me to address your argument and I did, and you are now angry that I addressed your argument? I wasnt wrong when I called you thick and this confirms it.

Well you are taking a very small minority of people and using them to argue for a much larger case for the sake of guilt tripping those who want things to get back to normal. So while you are creating the saddest case possible, lets make this hypothetical person with dementia physically disabled too shall we? There would clearly be exceptions for such people, as any responsibility would come down to those responsible for those people - whether they are in a home or being looked after by a carer or family member. If in a home, like you suggested, then there would be a legal binding contract that would declare someone like how you described the responsibility of the home. Again, you've pointed out a rare exception that deviates from the majority of cases relating to my point. But as I said if covid takes someone with such a poor quality of life then what exactly did they lose? The general case is that people have, and will always have, a mindset where they look at guidelines from the gov or WHO and think 'this doesn't apply to me'. This is the biggest danger when it comes to covid, the responsibility for these people does not belong to Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, Angela Merkel, whichever leader you choose. Everyone has heard of covid by now and everyone should be aware of what can be done to reduce the spread - the trouble is that people dont listen and that they have the 'this doesnt apply to me' attitude. At this point Donald Trump could literally star in a pantomime and do a song and dance about the coronavirus and the dangers of it and how it came from Chi-na - it would have zero impact whatsoever. I agree he could've done more during the spread, I agree that he doesn't know what he's doing but that does not make him solely responsible for it. He did not personally kill 200,000 people. At some point there has to be some kind of end game. People will eventually have to face the music and learn to live alongside the coronavirus just as we do with the flu.
-
I did explain it, it just went over your thick head. But I'll explain it again... My explanation was that this would not be any different than if they got pneumonia or the flu. Sadly someone with advanced dementia is ready to die and cannot continue as they are, this is a reality that we all need to accept.
-
I do understand that, you are preaching to the choir on that one... All I said that it might just be a bit far to wish the guy a horrible painful death. But it looks like this is just one of those things we will have to agree to disagree on.

Indeed, they say he's just going in for a medical evaluation (but with a Fox News doctor).

Really peaceful guy who loved homosexuals died 53 years ago aged 39 -
So when someone is discharged into a care home where the flu is present then who is responsible then? Is Trump to blame every time someone catches the flu? If you die from covid then its very likely that you have some pre existing conditions or you are simply too frail to begin with - especially if your quality of life is down to uncontrollably 'shitting their own pants'. Triggered is the perfect term to describe your constant verbal diarrhoea about orange man bad, if the world didnt see people like you as a massive fuckin joke then Trump would be 20 points behind right now. Also do I seem like I belong on mumsnet to you? I mean you are much closer to that age range than I am.
