Ideas and Possibilities for 2021
The Great Cornholio replied to Paul Bearer's topic in DeathList Forum
This is a fair list tbh, although dropping Tom Smith and David Crosby are both bad ideas. Dick Van Dyke and Angela Lansbury are just old, besides that I reckon they both have a while to go yet. In fact, I reckon Betty White is a fair candidate. Apparently she feels like she has ages to go yet so I think at least a lower rank on the list may be in order - taking her off the list may be a step too far. -
Looks like they'll have to get the dog cone out again for those new assault charges https://www.newsbreak.com/new-york/new-york/news/1486071071614/harvey-weinstein-wears-dog-cone-to-prevent-self-from-licking-balls-in-court

COVID 19 - Second Wave
The Great Cornholio replied to The Great Cornholio's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I think there are too many people out there who think that masks are the key to preventing COVID. People touch their masks and they touch everything round the shop - plus a lot of the employees dont wear masks, even at the checkouts. So germs are still going to spread mask or no mask. Masks can decrease the likelihood of getting COVID dont get me wrong, but I think people should probably also be wearing gloves too - and even then that only decreases the likelihood slightly. I think just being super hygienic would be the key for not getting the 'rona. -
I guess I was mostly referring to an afterlife in general, but yeah I probably should've used better phrasing.

Just to follow this up, this article claims that Sid James haunts the Sunderland theatre and that people have seen a white orb resembling him only yards away from where he died. Not sure if I believe it, me being an atheist and all, but really interesting read. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/theatre-lover-catches-ghost-sid-11498050

I was told he was on stage suspended from the ceiling. An extract from Wikipedia: On 26 April 1976, while on a revival tour of The Mating Season, a 1969 farce by the Northern Irish playwright Sam Cree, James suffered a heart attack on stage at the Sunderland Empire Theatre. Actress Olga Lowe thought that he was playing a practical joke at first when he failed to reply to her dialogue. When he failed to reply to her ad libs, she moved towards the wings to seek help. The technical manager, Melvyn James, called for the curtain to close and requested a doctor, while the audience – who were unaware of what was happening – laughed, believing the events to be part of the show. He was taken to the Sunderland Royal Hospital by ambulance, but was pronounced dead on arrival. He was 62.[16]

Its all about perspective. I think most people in swing states will vote according to their experience with the Trump Administration. The people who got their jobs back will vote for him, the ones who got bumped off by the hospitals under Trump when they had COVID wont be voting for him. Either way its way too close to call, most betting places are calling it 50/50 chance.

Didnt Sid James die on stage? I remember my Dad saying that he went to a play Sid James was in and he died while he was floating in the air - plus everyone at the time everyone thought Sid was kidding but then the curtains closed on him and the news announced he was dead the next day.

Drinking a killer of a drink like coke while you were statistically expected to have died 30 years ago is the ultimate fuck you to God

Trump will be fine. In fact, I'm surprised he's not milking it for all its worth. If I were him, I'd stay in the hospital until I was clear of the rona and leave the hospital with a huge welcome from my supporters - then do a speech on how much I've changed from the experience and win the election that way.

Well at least he now has the right approach to the virus, maybe him getting COVID played as an important lesson to him (although on second thought, probably not)

Again, mild. Trump catching the rona will actually help him, this will generate enough sympathy for him for sway some votes over to him. Similar thing with Boris, there were two types of people - the people who laughed at him for his poor handling of the virus (now he has it) and people who felt sorry for him.
