Agreed. I think Joe Biden has a good chance of winning due to Trump's shortcomings in his presidency. Trump was blocked on pretty much everything he tried to do by supreme court, so his presidency isnt exactly full of accomplishments... Might be worth waiting until the debates, maybe people might realise that Biden is completely clueless and incompetent - more so than Trump.

Sickest game in the world (parts 1&2)

Fair few valid points made here. But who said they have to be pensioners? I mean we have people in their 60s posting now. So someone posting in their 60s in 2004 could be in their 70s and 80s... Needless to be said, death can occur to anyone at any time. My thoughts are that someone could've committed suicide, I mean a forum thats all about death could be a forum of choice for someone who is unhealthily obsessed with it. Lets say if someone is depressed for example and death is all they can think about. Maybe even cancer or alcoholism etc... I do not expect all of those in my list to be dead, this is just trial and error pretty much - narrowing things down. Maybe some day we'll see who the possible deceased <5% of the list is - although that will clearly take some doing...

List updated It might be the case that more people, like TAFKAG, will come back and confirm they are still breathing. To state the obvious, this will take a while for us to narrow it all down or to get any info confirming which DLers are no longer with us (if any). @Paul Bearer, is it possible to get any confirmation concerning the emails of a lot of these accounts. Are they still active? Or would that be taking things too far?

Sickest game in the world (parts 1&2)

Well we cant say for sure whether or not someone who was last online last weekend is still alive, we can say that its highly unlikely that they have died during that short space of time, opposed to someone who hasnt been on the forums in 5-10 years or so... Best chance of finding out who is alive and who is dead is process of elimination, lets collectively take what we know and find out the answer to whether any DLers are now dead.

I think statistically you are 40% likely to die within the first year of being in a care home. Forget where I saw that statistic, tried googling for it but stupid coronavirus related stuff comes up every time...

Dead Relatives - old photos from the 20th century and before
The Great Cornholio replied to The Great Cornholio's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Found 2 pictures of my great great grandmother (Edith Flowers - neƩ Summers - 1884 - 1969) in my uncle's attic. Edith's husband, James Flowers, was one of the people who created the General Workers Union - along with Labour politician Ernest Bevin.- 54 replies

The Big Book of DeathList's Great mistakes
The Great Cornholio replied to Wickerman's topic in DeathList Forum
I can probably see Betty White being dropped if I'm honest. She is going very strong so if the committee wanted to be bold then I'd imagine She'd be the biggest name they'd be willing to drop. As for the lesser known, Gates Sr probably wont make it back on the list due to the controversy of whether he is deemed famous or not... Other names likely to be dropped would be Joanne Woodward, Peter Sutcliffe, David Crosby and probably Dick Cheney too - despite having 5 heart attacks he'll probably continue on soldiering for at least another few years. My Nan had cancer 3 times, 10 years after the last diagnosis she is in her 80s doing well. You'll be surprised how robust the human body is... -
