Having been given a shot of morphine to see him off. Doubtful they'd do that now.

Roger Waters turned 79 yesterday, the oldest surviving member of Pink Floyd. -
It's unlikely that Cameron would still be PM, as he was both incompetent and lazy. The pandemic would surely have got him out, even if no other crises had happened. Probably Boris would now have been in for about eighteen months. Or perhaps he'd be leader of the opposition, following Jeremy Corbyn's victory at the last election.

I have seen The Last Seduction (although it was a long time ago) and I can't remember a dinner party scene in it. At the start Linda Fiorentino is the manager of a call centre slave-driving the people on the phones to get sales. Also I remember the catchy theme music, which I'm surprised never to have heard used anywhere else. -

Posting a picture of herself heavily soft-focused and wearing a covid mask, possibly to hide the fact that her jaw's fallen off. -
Are you sure that isn't Gordon Burns from The Krypton Factor?

Much seen in Crawford Productions police shows (Homicide, Division 4), usually as a violent crook.

No doubt he'll write an article about the whole business that will appear in the Guardian (having first appeared somewhere like the New Yorker, that pays better).

I'm surprised that someone who's been burned so badly could be left with usable organs.

Anne Heche has died, apparently.

I remember Kate Garner of Haysi Fantayzee appearing on The Tube as a judge in some kind of talent contest and being very obviously stoned. They were a strange pair, their main musical influence seemed to be the Goodies.

She said: 'I had a facelift and I stopped because I don't want to look distorted." Frankly I think she's left it a bit too late. -
Apparently he was one of the chief instigators in the creation of early Eighties fetish club and long-running magazine Skin Two.

I'd say Nuggets was psychedelia in the making - some of the bands on it had got there, some were still imitating the earlier Stones, Beatles and Yardbirds, and a lot were somewhere in between. In any case it's a classic compilation, the first time anyone had collected a lot of tracks that became garage-rock standards. -
Probably not. But a disastrous successor, an election defeat, and a lack of new options could all work for him.

I don't see him undoing his resignation, but he could make a comeback later on.

He didn't, but Suzi Quatro made rather a good job of it! -
"umer" or умер means "died". So the first sentence is "Cartoonist Leonid Shvartsman died July 2."

Dame Nadine and Sir Jacob, maybe?

I believe he's in better shape now than he was just a few years ago.

If the party has confidence in the leader they don't hold a vote of no confidence. And if the leader wins, doubts and divisions don't go away. The odds have tipped against Boris lasting till the next election.
