The cynical might wonder if some tabloid wasn’t getting ready to out him. -
He probably wouldn’t mind.

dead Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

But remember Peter Sissons getting stick for his necktie - was it purple? I think there’ll be great attention paid to timing this time, getting everyone into mourning at just the right moment. -
Ideas and Possibilities for 2021

Once married to Juliette Greco, genuinely “iconic” singer and actress who’ll be 93 in February. -
Apparently the name came from his actually liking porridge for breakfast.

As said before, I think when he goes he’ll get a surprising amount of media attention. One cause will be people in the media remembering hearing/owning Throbbing Gristle records in their younger days; another will be that his life and career will provide an opportunity to talk about various sexy subjects like transgenderism and “shocking” work in the arts and music. (TG were highly provocative in their subject matter, with songs like “Very Friendly”, about the Moors Murderers, and a film called After Cease To Exist which they showed at their live shows and which climaxed with a scene of a guy tied to a table being castrated.)

Do people have to be so indignant at having to search a little online? The other day I read that somebody called Poppy had caused a stir by appearing at a music awards show wearing a black rubber gag over her mouth.* I’d never heard of her before in my life, but it didn’t take long to see she has a stack of videos on Youtube and a record deal. *Looking at the other performers who were there, I can only hope it catches on.

dead Peter Sutcliffe
Slackhurst Broadcasting replied to Death Watch Beatle's topic in DeathList Forum
I don’t think Frank Bruno was too bright even before he started getting punched in the head for a career. Last night I was reading about Sutcliffe’s arrest. It was mainly chance, but I think his luck was about due to run out. I don’t think the police were entirely to blame - if he’d be caught much sooner nowadays (I think he would) it’s because data processing methods have improved out of recognition. -
Some Mothers is still funny!

I bought the first Throbbing Gristle album in 1978! And first heard of Genesis P-Orridge when the NME wrote about his previous group Coum in 1974. He/ they has been in a bad way for a couple of years now unfortunately. And I think when he goes, the amount of media attention will surprise some people.
