Alan Rachins was also in Showgirls, in which I knew his voice at once but couldn't think who he was for most of the movie - then suddenly I realised it was him, wearing a wig. Credit to the wig-maker.

They were only minor members of their respective bands. When Monti Rock III ("Disco Tex") goes I expect it'll be reported as the passing of a gay icon. When Fat Larry died I wonder were there tut-tutting obituaries noting his unhealthy lifestyle? There would be today for sure. But he was very fat.

Perhaps R "did it" by himself after 1979, which would explain why he never had any more hits.

I don't think I'd ever seen a photo of R and J Stone till today. The mental image of them "doing it" is not appealing.
