    Deathlist Dreaming

Had one last night. Jimmy Carter somehow survived to 2024 and was crowned as the DeathList immortal. It was a normal ceremony but then suddenly out of nowhere Bob Barker wearing a suit comes flying on a jetpack with two AK47s in hand, with a bald eagle as his sidekick saying "Surprise motherfuckers! Ol Bobby ain't dead yet!". Bob Barker then fired both guns on Jimmy Carter but Jimmy took every bullet like a tank. Then Bob Barker's jetpack malfunctioned and he fatally crashed on the ground. The noise of the crash caused Jimmy to suddenly have a heart attack and die as well, then the bald eagle was crowned as the immortal.

I believe Hermano Da Silva Ramos (born 1925) is the oldest living F1 driver now?

People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive

Priscilla Morgan is still alive at 89, actress but is probably best known as the widow of our beloved DeathList mascot, Clive Dunn.

    Joe Biden

Not expected to attend King Charles' coronation https://people.com/royals/joe-biden-not-expected-attend-king-charles-coronation/. It isn't a first, as back in 1953 President Eisenhower had also skipped Queen Elizabeth's coronation. However it's been creating rumors and inside info that frequent international travel has begun to take it's toll on Biden and that his aides are keen to restrict him from making such trips in the future.

Mal Middlesworth dead. I reckon Schab or Hamilton will go next. Schab has been hospitalized several times for pneumonia and other respiratory problems and generally is in poor health, while Hamilton on the other hand looked skeletal in his most recent public appearance back in December.

    Ideas and possibilities for 2024

The Apollo 8 crew can definitely be considered. Borman and Lovell are 95, there's been some rumors among my space enthusiasts circle that Borman has been in poor health for some time now. Meanwhile, Lovell has slowed down significantly in the last year and I don't recall him attending an event in a while now. Bill Anders seems to be the only member of the crew who's in decent health as far as I know, but he will turn 90 this year.

    Last appearances

I know that is Prince Philip's last photo, but it's not nearly as iconic as the one that started that Prince Philip is a zombie/vampire meme.

    Last appearances

Posting some slightly more obscure ones. Gene Wilder (2015) Greta Garbo (1990) John Surtees (2016) Lauren Bacall (2013 or 2014? Not sure, but last photo I know of)

    Lynyrd Skynyrd

It's actually Allen Collins who did that Free Bird guitar solo. Nonetheless Gary was equally as good, pretty sure he performed the opening solo of the song.

First known photograph of Bruce Willis in public since the revelation of his dementia diagnosis.

    Andrew Tate

Do we have any clue on Tate's family history? His father died in his 50s, yes. But what about his grandparents and other relatives? Is there a history of cancer? etc. Nonetheless I find this very hard to believe. This strikes me as some kind of scheme in order for Tate to get out of Romania.

    Deathlist Cup 2023

Don't know, but I regret not thinking of him for my fun DL Cup football squad (I mean, I literally had Eric Bailly and Aaron Ramsey on my main team and Granit Xhaka as one of my subs).

    World War II Veterans

I'd say around 20 Pearl Harbor survivors left but even that seems to be optimistic. Could only confirm around 10 alive as of 2022. Louis Conter (101) - USS Arizona survivor Ken Potts (101) - USS Arizona survivor Joseph Eskenazi (105) - Oldest known survivor Freeman Johnson (101) Sterling Cale (101) Horace Hamilton (98) Herbert Elfring (100) Bob Batterson (101) Ike Schab (102) Mal Middlesworth (100)

    Political Frailty

Felipe Gonzalez Gonzalez, Mexican politician and former governor of Aguascalientes died at the age of 76. Interesting name too, can't think of any politician with a repeated name like this since Boutros Boutros-Ghali.
  18. I'd like to see something different. Maybe the top 40 highest-grossing UK films of each decade since the 1970s. Or some UK/European football equivalent to this (though things would get nasty with that one).

It's the usual premature rumors that come whenever a world famous person/celebrity is near the end of life.

    1. Jimmy Carter

I still remember the days when Gerald Ford was the longest lived U.S President and Carter and Bush Sr. were catching up and hoping they would break the record, but thinking that both would fall short especially knowing the health issues they had (Carter with cancer, Bush Sr. wheelchair bound and suffering from vascular parkinsonism). How wrong I was. Bush Sr. broke the record and lived to the age of 94 and Carter broke the record again a few months later and just kept going and going, 95, 96, 97, 98. After a certain point I was genuinely surprised as to how he kept on going. Though it's pretty clear he's not making it to 100, Jimmy Carter has exceeded all DL expectations and has secured his place in DL history as one of it's greatest immortals. Also, the record of the longest lived U.S President is pretty much set in stone at this point, it would take Joe Biden 18 years to even reach the age of 98.

    Bruce Willis

I think 2026-2027 is when we should really watch out. So far what I've observed with previous celeb FTD/Lewy Body/other non-Alzheimer's dementia cases, 3-4 years after diagnosis seems to be the time when the rapid decline (and death in most cases) takes place. If Bruce doesn't die within that time, he should at least become a DL regular by then.

    Ideas and possibilities for 2024

Realized that quite a few people from the early days of Thomas The Tank Engine are still around, not just Ringo. Christopher Awdry - Son of The Rev. Wilbert Awdry. 82 years old and looked frail in an appearance back in 2015, not really any news since then. Britt Allcroft - 80 years old. Creator of the television series. Still quite active online. Robert Cardona - 92 years old. Produced the first two series of the show. Hardly notable so only worth considering for the more lenient dead pools. Michael Brandon - Not involved in the early days of the show, but narrated the American version of the show for a long time. Junior Campbell - Composed the music for the early seasons along with Mike O'Donnell (who's not notable).

    Burt Bacharach

Wow. Didn't expect to see him go this quickly, thought he would have been around for a year or two. R.I.P.
